"Yeah it was a good stage time," says Latvala, "I tried to push, I know I'm losing at the end, I know the beginning of the stage is going really well. The difference to Ogier is not too bad."
"Everyone knows when you fight for nothing it's not so fun," says Ogier, "we tried to work in the afternoon on the set-up, we were consistently fast in the afternoon."
We have a new fastest time in the stage - Ogier sets a 24m47.7s, 2.5s under Neuville.
"We tried to go full softs and I didn't do the best I could," says Mikkelsen, "it was moving a bit. We'll see what we can do on the powerstage, I want to get as many points as possible."
Ogier and Latvala both are up on Neuville in the splits though.
Mikkeslen comes in with a 25m05.4s - 15.2s off Neuville's mark.
"I knew I could make the difference again," says Neuville, "I enjoyed it, it's a really beautiful stage. Quite tricky, there are a few wet corners, I saw a few people go wide."
Wow - Neuville is in with a 24m50.2s and he stretches his lead by a further 11.8s
"I wasn't entirely happy with the stage to be honest," says Evans, "similar feelings to this morning. I'm happy the day is over."
Leader Neuville is making more time at the top - he's 6.2s up on second-placed Evans in the penultimate split.
"The car is something strange," says Sordo on his spin, "when I worked the throttle it only does the rear so I come to a spin. I tried my best."
And Sordo finishes 4.2 off Suninen and 5.8s off Lappi - a good damage limitation job.
Sordo has been clawing back time to Suninen after his half-spin - he's 4.4s off at the final split.
"Wasn't the best run for me," says Suninen, "at the beginning at had some problems with the balance with the car. It's good for all the drivers to have a tight fight."
Suninen is shy of Lappi having been up in every split! His 24m59.9s is 1.6s slower than Lappi.
"I am afraid it's not enough," says Lappi, "to be honest the whole afternoon I've been flat out, I've had so many moments, I can't go faster. Suninen and Sordo are doing such a good job."
Lappi is now quickest - 24m58.3s, more than half a minute under Ostberg and Breen.
"It's a tough day for sure today I think we managed our set-up quite well and in the afternoon we did some mistakes with the set-up," says Ostberg, "I said to try some things and some didn't work out. It's hard to do 38km when you are fighting the car. At least I can take time to enjoy the landscape."
"Bits and pieces, not a whole lot," says Breen on the rain, "probably more at the start of the stage. Hards on the front, softs on the rear probably not the nicest of choices, anyway we got through."
Sordo is now making ground back on Suninen, he's 6s off at split five.
...we spoke too soon, Neuville is 1.3s quicker than Suninen at the first split.
Suninen remains the fastest out there, but his gap to Sordo remains fairly constant - it's now 7.6s after four splits.
The gap between Suninen and Sordo stays steady at 7.0s at the second split.
Suninen continues to be the fastest out there - 2.4s quicker than Lappi after three splits.
Indeed Sordo at the first split is 7.1s shy of Suninen - that's most of his overall cushion to the Finn!
...and Sordo's just had a minor slide to the inside of a left-hander - losing him a few seconds.
For all that we've focused on the battle of the Finns for fourth, Suninen only is 8.9s off Sordo overall in third.
Ostberg now is 3.2s up on Breen at split two - while Lappi is the fastest of all at split one by 0.3s.
There may indeed be rain around - Breen has his windscreen wipers on.
Breen gets our final stage of the day underway - the lengthy Amarante test
