Mikkelsen has forfeited another 2s through the second split, while further back down the road Latvala is fastest of all so far through the first split - he's 1.1s up on Ogier's time.
Paddon matches his team-mate Neuville through the first split - the Hyundais are going well so far this morning.
Tyre-wise, there's a fairly standard choice across the board: All cars have opted for five softs except for Kevin Abbring, who's gone for an extra spare soft.

Rally Catalunya is the only mixed surface round of the 2016 season; while a great deal of it is run on tarmac, there's also the challenge of gravel for crews to get to grips with.
