Speaking of Honda, McLaren Formula 1 reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne made his Super Formula debut at Suzuka this weekend.
After his point-scoring performance on his F1 debut at the Bahrain Grand Prix three weeks ago, the Belgian fared pretty well once again over in Japan, where he scored a podium:

The soaked Hungarian fans are treated to a thrilling climax to the FV8 3.5 race, as Dillmann holds on to win by less than a second and Yu Kanamaru spins out of fifth exiting the final hairpin.

The Garage 59 McLaren jumped into the lead of the BGTS Endurance Cup opener during the first round of stops. Come Ledogar heads the field after a quick turn around in the pits, following an opening stint in which Rob Bell moved the car up from 16th on the grid to third place. The McLaren's advantage stands at six second over the HTP Merc in the hands of Jazeman Jafaar.

Second placed Roy Nissany was over two seconds quicker than leader Tom Dillmann on the last lap, lap 16. The gap stands at 2.8s, with a minute and one lap remaining.
