It's still going Tanak's way this morning too - he's fastest at split one and putting another 2.8s on his gap to Ogier so far.
The M-Sport Fords are onto the stage. Tanak outpaced a troubled Ogier yesterday and they start the day 23.1s apart in third and fourth. Ogier being denied a podium by his team-mate would be a real surprise, but that's what's on course to happen right now.

Despite being first on the road, Sordo is still fastest on all the splits so far - though with Bertelli to pursue he does have more to push for than the next group of drivers.

Bertelli loses 24.9s to Sordo through the stage, so that gap's down to 51.9s with two to do. See, building up to a very, very close finish there.
Hanninen, Paddon and Latvala are onto the stage too. Not a lot for either of them to gain today, particularly Hanninen and Paddon, who are in lonely sixth and seventh places after problem-filled weekends.
Latvala is 34s behind fourth-placed Ogier but hasn't been on the same pace as the rest of the podium group since dropping back with a puncture yesterday morning.

Sordo has taken 11.1s out of the 1m16s gap to Bertelli by the first split. If he keeps gaining at that sort of pace through today's three stages, it's probably doable.
First man on the road Sordo was in the lead battle with Evans and Meeke on Friday morning but then broke a steering arm on a rock.
Stopping to repair it cost him 11 minutes and left him last in the classification, but he's been steadily picking his way forward since then.
He's now ninth and might have a chance to gain another place this morning by depriving Bertelli of a career-best eighth.

SS16 El Condor-Copina (10.14 miles)
The jewel in Rally Argentina's crown. Starts up at around 2200 metres and drops 746 of those in the next 10 miles.
It begins among the rocks up at the top, where patience is evcerything for the crews as they twist and turn through every agonising turn.
Mid-way through the road gets a bit quicker before crossing three rope bridges, which are narrow and will require an absolutely square entry.
This year, Condor is looking rougher than it has in years with huge rocks uncovered in particular nasty places – like downhill sections, where the car's going to be loaded up on the brakes when it hits them.

Relatively minor news - Sordo has taken ninth from Tidemand. He'll go into Sunday 1m16.8s off Bertelli ahead.
Bertelli confirms his time loss on that stage was due to having to stop to change a puncture, a process that didn't go totally smoothly.

We know Evans was running without a rear diffuser and was struggling with his handling. We need to wait till he gets further from the stage end to reach the media to find out if any other problem developed on that stage.

Evans finishes the stage 18.9s slower than Neuville. His rally lead is down to just 11.5s!

That split point is about three quarters of the way through the stage. It's highly unlikely Evans will lose the rally lead here but he'll begin Sunday's three-stage loop under way more pressure than he has been up to now.

Next split is in from Evans and it's not good - he's 11.8s slower than Neuville!
Agonising wait for Evans's times as the loss of Ostberg means there's a six-minute gap on the stage between Neuville and the rally leader.

Fastest so far from Neuville - he beats Tanak by a healthy 6.9s so his cushion over the M-Sport driver grows to 15.3s. Now how close will they both be to Evans?

Neuville is going well - he's 4s quicker than Tanak at the middle split so on course to extend his gap back to the third-placed Estonian.
Great start for Evans - even with the damage he's just 0.4s slower than Neuville at split one and 0.7s faster than Tanak.
Ogier completes the stage 4.7s slower than Tanak. They'll start Sunday 23.1s apart in Tanak's favour.
Evans is now onto the stage. How much further will that 30s lead come down as he wrestles his diffuser-less Fiesta along?
Ogier is 3.5s slower than team-mate Tanak at the middle split. The gap between them in third and fourth overall had grown to 18.4s by the end of the last stage and looks set to get bigger still. Ogier hasn't spent many days of his WRC career being consistently outpaced by a team-mate like this.
Decent time from Paddon, 3.5s off Tanak. Not too relevant given the delay from his Friday morning roll and now the extra penalty this afternoon, but last year's winner has shown some good pace when things haven't been going completely terribly for him this weekend.
