There's an investigation into an incident between the #83 Ferrari of Perrodo and the #35 Alpine of Tung. Perrodo turned in on Tung at Copse, forcing him onto the grass. Both did make it round but it was a close one.

Lopez wins in a breathtaking end to the race from Monteiro and Catsburg, who defended for his life in the final few corners from Michelisz.
Thed Bjork claimed a fine fourth for Volvo Polestar, though, tagging and passing Michelisz through the final corner - the latter, having picked up a puncture.

The #77 Dempsey-Proton Proton has slowed with a suspension problem. That car was second in GTE Pro.
The #8 Audi is still struggling for pace. Di Grassi is sixth but is lapping around three seconds off the sister car.
Treluyer has just banged in a 1m41s lap, so it appears everything is okay with his Audi.

Lopez is through on the final lap! He created a gap off the final corner and now leads from Monteiro, with Catsburg relegated to third.

Gonzalez in the #43 Ligier is closing on the LMP2 class-leading #26 ORECA of Rusinov. But Gonzalez, who took over from Senna, is on fresh rubber whereas Rusinov only took fuel at the first round of stops.

The #97 Aston Martin has been given a stop/go penalty for exceeding track limits. Rees is currently in that car and has just brought it in for a regular pitstop.

The WTCC's repair time window has started at the Slovakia Ring, ahead of the second race (which starts in about 25 minutes). No major damage done in the opening race for the majority of the field - although Zengo Motorsport will do well to get Ferenc Ficza out for the second encounter after his Honda Civic expired towards the end of the first race.
Cumming has had an off in the #31 ORECA that was leading LMP2 prior to the pitstops. He lost it on the way into Club, flew across the grass and then spun in the middle of the corner.
So after the first round of stops, here's how things stand:

Lotterer lost time during that stop. He was stopped for 96 seconds, compared to 84s for the #1 Porsche and 98s for the other Audi.

Panis leads pole man Dillmann into Turn 1. Deletraz is knocked into a spin, possibly by Matthieu Vaxiviere who has dropped to 13th from fifth.

Orudzhev will want to forget this weekend. One of the star's of the second half of last year's FR3.5 championship, much was expected of the SMP-backed racer.
