It's been a good opening 15 minutes for the title-leading #17 Porsche, Bernhard leads di Grassi by 6.8s, with Dumas third and Fassler fourth. The Toyotas are fifth and sixth.
In LMP2, Tandy is just over one second ahead of Bird at the front of the pack.

GARY WATKINS: The #99 Aston is serving a three-minute stop-go penalty for using five sets of tyres in free practice rather than the alloted max of four. The team admits it made a mistake.
Their fighting has let Bernhard build up a 3.8s lead up front.
Di Grassi is now up to second with a move on Dumas on the inside of Turn 1.

In LMP2, Tandy still leads the G-Drive entries of Bird and Derani.
The early LMP1 order is two-by-two for the three manufacturers, Porsche, then Audi, then Toyota. Bernhard leads Dumas, di Grassi, Fassler, Buemi and the retiring Wurz.
Di Grassi just sets the fastest lap of the race now he's clear of Fassler, and he's closing right in on Dumas.
The Signatech car, with Dillmann behind the wheel, is down to fourth in LMP2. Tandy leads the two G-Drive entries, driven by Bird and Derani.

In LMP2, it was a difficult first lap for the pole-sitting Signatech Alpine, with Tandy now leading for KCMG
But that changes now, with di Grassi passing the other Audi of Fassler for third into Turn 1.
It's as they were at the front, with the top six order not changing on that first lap.
