MotoGP - Silverstone: Speaking of Crutchlow, his Tech 3 team reckon tomorrow is the Brit's best chance of a win this year. We reckon if he's got one Grand Prix win in him this season, he'd probably be OK with it being in Britain - and possibly a little surprised, too.

That's because Crutchlow told AUTOSPORT's Sam Tremayne yesterday that he reckons it used to be 3-3 between Yamaha and Honda in terms of where each was strongest; but now says it is 5-1 and that Lorenzo is flattering Yamaha.

In which case, Crutchlow's third in qualifying was even more impressive.
Superstars - Donington: Luigi Ferrara snares pole from Tonio Liuzzi after the flag. Amazing result after Ferrara's troubled practice sessions.

1 Ferrara; 2 Liuzzi; 3 Berton; 4 Morbidelli; 5 Biagi; 6 Turkington; 7 Mugelli; 8 Schiattarella; 9 Bacci; 10 Trentin.
IndyCar - Baltimore: The 12 cars still in contention for pole are on track for the second phase of qualifying.

Moto2 - Silverstone: Meanwhile, in Moto2, will tomorrow see a maiden win for polesitter Takaaki Nakagami? The Japanese rider will start from pole for the third time this season.

He's finished second twice in the last two races, at Indy and in the Czech Republic, where he started first. He also started at the head of the field at Le Mans, but crashed while leading.
IndyCar - Baltimore: EJ Viso hits the wall at the exit of the chicane with less than a minute on the clock, but the session finishes under green flag conditions.

Progressing: Pagenaud, Vautier, Castroneves, J. Wilson, Newgarden, Kimball

Eliminated: Filippi, Kanaan, Andretti, Carpenter, Viso, Bourdais.
MotoGP - Silverstone: Tomorrow could be crucial for the MotoGP title race. Can Dani Pedrosa afford to lose any more ground to Honda team-mate and poleman Marc Marquez? Jorge Lorenzo almost certainly can't.

Championship standings after 11 of 18 rounds:

1 Marc Marquez 213
2 Daniel Pedrosa 187
3 Jorge Lorenzo 169
4 Valentino Rossi 143
5 Cal Crutchlow 127
6 Stefan Bradl 103

(25 points for a win)

Superstars - Donington: With 10 minutes to go, it's Luigi Ferrara who's fastest, from Gianni Morbidelli.
Indycar - Baltimore: Bourdais' chances of progressing have just taken a hit - he belted the tyres at the exit of the chicane and appears to have broken his front-left suspension.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Franchitti is a little mystified by his lack of pace.

"The car actually felt quite decent. It was just nowhere near quick enough. I'm not quite sure where we're going to pick it up."

As things stand, he'll start from 15th.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Heading out in Group 2:

Tristan Vautier, Josef Newgarden, Simon Pagenaud, Tony Kanaan, Sebastien Bourdais, Luca Filippi, Helio Castroneves, EJ Viso, Justin Wilson, Charlie Kimball, Marco Andretti, Ed Carpenter.
Superstars - Donington: Would seem the session has been shortened, thanks to two red flags in Auto GP qualifying. 21 mins left on the clock, no laps recorded.
IndyCar - Baltimore: First upset of the afternoon, as Dario Franchitti finishes eighth in the group and is elminated. Saavedra's 'two sets of new tyres' strategy didn't pay off, either.

Progressing to round two: Dixon, Power, Sato, Hunter-Reay, Rahal, Hinchcliffe.

Eliminated: Jakes, Franchitti, Servia, de Silvestro, Saavedra, Stefan Wilson.
Superstars - Donington: Qualifying is go here in Donington. Can anybody stop the Romeo Ferraris Mercedes of Tonio Liuzzi and Thomas Biagi? We'll know in 30 minutes.

MotoGP - Silverstone: Press conference about to start at Silverstone, where AUTOSPORT has a perfect view of Cal Crutchlow showing off his battle scars. He wears them with pride, this guy.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Just over halfway in and Graham Rahal is currently leading the group. A lot of the quicker guys are yet to do a run on new reds, but Sebastian Saavedra is taking a different approach - he's just fitted his second set of stickered reds.
Auto GP - Donington - qualifying: 1 Karthikeyan; 2 Ghirelli; 3 Giovesi; 4 Visoiu; 5 Campana; 6 Sato.
Auto GP - Donington: Karthikeyan is flying and moves back to P1 on 1m17.132s. The chequered flag is out.
Auto GP - Donington: Karthikeyan has recovered from seventh to second, 0.087s behind provisional polesitter Kevin Giovesi.
Auto GP - Donington: Meindert van Buuren has gone off at qualifying trouble-spot Coppice, bringing out the red flags.

Robert Visoiu had moved to the top of the timing screens a minute earlier, only to be demoted in quick succession by Giovesi, Ghirelli and Karthikeyan.

Karthikeyan has now been stripped of his fastest time because the red flags had been shown before he had completed his lap, leaving Giovesi fastest.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: Here's how Brit-abroad Jack Hawksworth claimed Indy Lights pole.

Hawksworth storms to commanding pole
IndyCar - Baltimore: Group 1 is about to get qualifying started. It's a tough group:

Group 1: Graham Rahal, Scott Dixon, Will Power, Takuma Sato, Dario Franchitti, Oriol Servia, James Hinchcliffe, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Sebastian Saavedra, James Jakes, Simona de Silvestro, Stefan Wilson.
European RX - Loheac: Second heat times in at Loheac, and it's good news for Sebastien Loeb: 1 Pailler; 2 Hansen; 3 Timerzyanov; 4 Bakkerud; 5 Loeb; 6 Jeanney.

After two heats the positions are as follows: 1 Pailler; 2 Hansen; 3 Tumerzyanov; 4 Bakkerud; 5 Janney; 6 Foust. Loeb is now ninth, with Petter Solberg 12th and Kris Meeke 16th.

Remember you can watch tomorrow's finals LIVE on AUTOSPORT from 1pm BST.
IndyCar - Baltimore: This is the pleasant sight of the points table Castroneves and the Penske boys have to look at. Dixon will be hoping the Brazilian slips up this weekend, particularly after the New Zealander's disastrous time at Sonoma, which was controversially won by...Penske's Will Power.

Championship standings after 15 of 19 rounds:
1 Helio Castroneves 479
2 Scott Dixon 440
3 Ryan Hunter-Reay 417
4 Marco Andretti 409
5 Simon Pagenaud 380
6 Dario Franchitti 379

(50 points for a win plus bonuses)

IndyCar - Baltimore: As its feeder series wraps up its qualifying session, remember Baltimore could prove a crucial moment in the fight for the IndyCar title.

Helio Castroneves, who toiled in practice while title rival Scott Dixon was second behind pacesetter Simon Pagenaud, is on the brink of his maiden title, which would be his Penske team's first since 2006.

AUTOSPORT editor-in-chief Andrew van de Burgt caught up with the points leader, and his team-mate Will Power.

Penske poised to end title drought
Indy Lights - Baltimore: It's all over and Hawksworth is on pole. Munoz improved to second, while Chaves dropped to third.
Auto GP - Donington: We're back in business. Vittorio Ghirelli is fastest on 1m18.448s, 0.162s quicker than Super Nova team-mate Narain Karthikeyan.

Sergio Campana is third, ahead of championship rival Kimiya Sato. Impressive newcomer Kevin Giovesi is fifth and GP2 driver Daniel de Jong completes the top-six.
Auto GP - Donington: Michele La Rosa has stopped on the inside of Coppice, bringing out the red flags. There are 17 minutes of the half-hour session to run.
Auto GP - Donington: Narain Karthikeyan is fastest on 1m19.679s, 0.326s up on Kevin Giovesi.

There is gravel on the track at Coppice after two excursions by Sergio Campana and Giovesi.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: With 10 minutes to go, Hawksworth is on provisional pole, just 0.03s ahead of Chaves. Munoz is just 0.06s further back in third.
Auto GP - Donington: Oil has been deposited in the support races at the Old Hairpin and Melbourne loop hairpin.

The preceding Legends race was stopped owing to several skirmishes, perhaps caused by the tricky track conditions.
Auto GP - Donington: Qualifying is go. Max Snegirev, who suffered a heavy shunt in free practice and damaged his gearbox, led the field out of the assembly area. The Russian's machine appears to be fully repaired.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: Following a lengthy stoppage after Giancarlo Serenelli crashed, we're back underway. Sage Karam managed to take the top spot in the short gap between stoppages.

Moto2 - Silverstone: Redding is well-placed to try and halt Pol Espargaro's so far unrelenting progress into his points lead. What was 43 points has come down to 21 in recent races.

Here's how the standings look ahead of tomorrow's race, for which Redding will line up second, and Espargaro sixth.

Championship standings after 10 of 17 rounds:

1 Scott Redding 167
2 Pol Espargaro 146
3 Esteve Rabat 122
4 Mika Kallio 115
5 Dominique Agerter 97
6 Johann Zarco 86

(25 points for a win)

Indy Lights - Baltimore: The session was stopped for a short period of time after Gabby Chaves spun. Hawksworth is at the top of the times, a long way clear of Sage Karam.
Auto GP - Donington: Karthikeyan was pleased to get back into the groove at Donington, having last raced at the venue in British F3 with Paul Stewart Racing in 2000.

"I was surprised how quickly it came back, as I haven't raced here since 2000," said Karthikeyan. "We have a very good car in the dry, and I have three sets of new tyres for qualifying, so I just hope the rain doesn't arrive for qualifying."
Indy Lights - Baltimore: The 11 Indy Lights cars hit the track for qualifying. Brit Jack Hawksworth has set the pace in free practice, so is favourite for the pole.
Auto GP - Donington: After dominating free practice, former Grand Prix driver Narain Karthikeyan believes he will not enjoy such a large advantage in qualifying this afternoon.

"I think qualifying will be closer," said Karthikeyan. "It's still looking good for us, but I am expecting to be around two tenths faster than the others rather than over half a second. Perhaps the others were 'sandbagging' this morning."
