Q1 line-up: Bautista; Rins; Petrucci; Abraham; Smith; Barbera; Baz; P. Espargaro; Rabat; Lowes; Redding; Van der Mark.
Initially, it seemed like Sepang will be a Ducati weekend, but in the end, only the two factory bikes made it to Q2 automatically and every satellite rider has to fight through Q1. The likes of Petrucci, Bautista are certainly among the favourites to top Q1, even Redding, if he managed to beat the flu that has been torturing him this weekend so far. Another rider to watch is Suzuki's Alex Rins, who was third in FP4.

Marquez looked a bit shaky on Saturday morning, as he was only ninth-fastest overall after FP3. However, it's Marquez we're talking about here - he went on to go fastest in FP4.
They don't give out points in qualifying, but it's still a crucial session for title contenders Marc Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso, especially the latter. The Ducati star mustn't finish outside of the top six in tomorrow's race but, ideally, a victory, and Marquez finishing lower than second, would be the only way to keep Dovi's title hopes realistic.
Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the MotoGP qualifying session at a sunny Sepang.
