Red Bull Ring MotoGP race

Lorenzo is wide at Turn 3, Marquez moves alongside, as does Dovizioso. Marquez leads into Turn 4.
Lorenzo leads Marquez, Dovizioso, Rossi, Zarco, Pedrosa, Vinales. Baz heads Iannone, Kallio, Bautista, Abraham, Miller, Barbera and Redding further behind.
Marquez passes Dovizioso up the inside at Turn 7. Marquez back into second.
20 laps to go at the Red Bull Ring, Lorenzo has opened his gap up to 0.5s again at the front. Pedrosa has joined the party now and is right on Zarco's tail.
Looked like Marquez ran into Turn 3 a little hot, giving Dovizioso the run on him.
Zarco, who just set a new lap record, has joined this lead battle. Lorenzo holds sway but only just, Dovizioso has moved into second exiting Turn 3.
Petrucci had an oil pump issue. Folger's issues were with the brakes.
1m24.312s from Zarco in fifth. That's the fastest lap of the race so far.
Cal Crutchlow has had a nightmare opening few laps. He started ninth but has dropped to 18th.
Mika Kallio has made a great start on the KTM. The Finn is running 10th at present ahead of Petrucci, who has been cleared of a jump start.
Marquez is closing down Lorenzo as they start lap five. The gap now 0.5s. Rossi fastest man on track with a 1m24.443s.
Pol Espargaro is in the pits. He suffered damage in a collision with one of the Avintia bikes off the line. Not a great start to KTM's race.
Lorenzo leads across the line to start lap three. Marquez, Dovi, Rossi, Vinales, Pedrosa, Zarco, Iannone, Baz and Folger complete your top 10.
Dovizioso has a look at Marquez at Turn 4 but can't find a way through. Lorenzo's lead up to 1.1 seconds.
Lorenzo is already pulling a small gap, which is what he needs to do while he has grip in these soft tyres.
Lorenzo takes the lead into the lead at Turn 3. Rossi is up to fourth from seventh.
Marquez takes the holeshot, looks like Petrucci jumped the start.
Unsurprisingly, Zarco has gone for the soft/soft option. He reckons he has podium pace today.
Just five minutes to go before lights out. Marquez leads the championship by 14 points ahead of this race.
Andrea Iannone used the soft tyre to win last year's Austrian Grand Prix. The Ducati does look after its tyres quite well, so this could be a good strategy. However, Marquez set a mighty pace on that hard rear, which is what he will start on.
Dovi and Lorenzo have opted for the soft rear, both Yamahas on hard rear.
Austria knows how to put on a show. They have an electric guitarist playing the national anthem, while the Austrian flag is being parachuted in.

We've already had two races today at the Red Bull Ring.

In the Moto3 class, Joan Mir stormed to his seventh win of the season to extend his championship lead to 64 points. Philipp Oettl took his first podium since Indianapolis in 2015 in second, while Jorge Martin gritted his teeth to take a heroic third despite still suffering from a heel injury.

In Moto2, Franco Morbidelli held off team-mate Alex Marquez for Marc VDS' first one-two since Misano 2014. Several mistakes saw Tom Luthi unable to move forward from third. Morbidelli now leads the championship by 26 points.
Good afternoon! The grid has assembled at the Red Bull Ring, the sun is shining, the grandstands are packed and we are ready for the Austrian Grand Prix.
