Live Text

WTCC - Argentina: Go!!! Yvan Muller passes Lopez into Turn 1 but then runs wide and Lopez regains the lead. Looks like Ma Qing Hua stalled at the start.
WRC - Mexico: Tanak completes Rally Mexico. OK, he missed a pretty big chunk, but his car also spent Saturday under water. So thumbs up all round.

His time is 7m15.1s.
WTCC - Argentina: The formation lap is go! Jose Maria Lopez leads the field away from pole position.
WRC - Mexico: Tanak kicks off the rally-ending powerstage. It's been emotional.
WRC - Mexico: Here's Meeke's co-driver Paul Nagle's guide to the powerstage:

"The powerstage is El Brinco from yesterday with an extra four kilometres at the start – we know this a little bit though because we obviously drove it as a road section into stages 13 and 17. This is the one where we found a bit rock last year…"
WRC - Mexico: A mention for Nassir Al-Attiyah, who is on the brink of WRC2 glory. He's just completed SS20.
WRC - Mexico - order after SS20:

1 Ogier 4h12m22.9s
2 Ostberg +1m10.9s
3 Mikkelsen +1m19.5s
4 Evans +3m23.4s
5 Sordo +4m51.4s
6 Prokop +6m13.3s

Leading SS20 times:

1 Neuville 3m22.1s
2 Latvala +1.8s
3 Ostberg +2.6s
4 Mikkelsen +3.2s
5 Sordo +4.3s
6 Ogier +4.5s
WRC - Mexico: Ogier's in, 4.5s slower. But it doesn't matter. He's had this rally won for some time. Just the one stage remaining of Rally Mexico!
WRC - Mexico: Ostberg's in, 2.6s slower than Neuville but 0.6s faster than Mikkelsen. He's very, very close to securing second overall now.

Just Ogier left, as well as the WRC2 contenders.
WRC - Mexico: "Not a good stage. Not easy," is Mikkelsen's verdict. He complains that he couldn't take the optimum line at one part of the stage because of some rocks.
WRC - Mexico: It's not spectacular for Mikkelsen. He's 3.2s off Neuville's pace. Has he settled for third?
WRC - Mexico: He did say cows. Damn cows. Still, Evans is just one stage away from matching his career-best WRC result of fourth. Have we mentioned that already?
WRC - Mexico: Problem for Evans? He's 22.3s off the pace...

He's got stuck behind something on the road. But we couldn't hear what. Did he say cows? Surely he didn't say cows?
WRC - Mexico: Sordo's 4.3s slower than the pace-setting Neuville.

Evans next up, then the squabbling Mikkelsen and Ostberg and rally leader Ogier.
WRC - Mexico: "Horrible," says Martin Prokop. "We went off on the last corner."

He comes through 25.3s slower than Neuville. Does this jeapordise his rally ahead of the very last stage? It would be terrible if so, as he's sixth overall...
WRC - Mexico: New fastest time as Neuville goes 1.8s quicker than Latvala.
WRC - Mexico: Latvala sets the new best time, 3.1s quicker than Kubica.
WRC - Mexico: Meeke's 0.4s slower than Kubica, and Latvala starts his run.
WRC - Mexico: Paddon's in, 1.2s slower than Kubica. Meeke now on the stage.
WRC - Mexico: Kubica's 3.6s quicker than Tanak, and now it's Paddon's turn.
WTCC - Argentina: Here's a bit of a before and after for Hugo Valente fans. From a scorched bonnet (and other issues) to a rebuilt Chevy.

WRC - Mexico: No split times on this one, so we'll just bring you the times as they come in. Tanak's started.
WRC - Mexico: Here's Paul Nagle, Meeke's co-driver, on the stage that Tanak, thankfully, is just about to start:

"This one has been shortened from 11 to six kilometres. This has the big compression near the start, it's also the stage where Petter [Solberg] had a big spin through a gate, it's a tricky one."
WRC - Mexico: We'll be pretty swiftly into the penultimate stage, Derramadero. That starts in a couple of minutes.
WRC - Mexico: Ogier's in, 2.4s slower than Ostberg. We weren't that far off on the prediction.

Leaderboard after SS19:

1 Ogier 4h08m56.3s
2 Ostberg +1m12.8s
3 Mikkelsen +1m20.8s
4 Evans +3m05.6s
5 Sordo +4m51.6s
6 Prokop +5m52.5s

Leading SS19 times:

1 Ostberg 35m26.5s
2 Ogier +2.4s
3 Mikkelsen +3.5s
4 Neuville +20.6s
5 Latvala +21.9s
6 Meeke +30.6s
WRC - Mexico: Right, Ostberg is in - 3.5s quicker than Mikkelsen.

Mikkelsen claims he's had a spin at the end of the stage. Can't have been a big one, or the time loss would have been a lot bigger.

There will be eight seconds between the pair going into the final two stages.
WRC - Mexico: Sordo, who broke two ribs recently, is in discomfort. "I lost my brakes after 20km, also my shoulder is hurting a lot," the Spaniard reports at the stage end.
WRC - Mexico: Mikkelsen's in, 17.1s quicker than Neuville.

Ostberg drops 0.8s back at the penultimate split. But the Norwegian is set to win the stage and consolidate second overall.
WRC - Mexico: Evans is in, 18.8s slower than Neuville.

The Welshman edges ever closer to matching his WRC career-best finish of fourth.
WRC - Mexico: The pendulum swings back in favour of Ostberg, who's pace advantage is up to 4.2s now over Mikkelsen.

At that last split, very little separated Mikkelsen and Ogier.
WRC - Mexico: Prokop and Sordo are in, 54.7s and 22.8s slower than Neuville respectively.
WRC - Mexico: Ooh, Mikkelsen shaves 0.9s out of Ostberg's on-stage advantage so far. Still a fair way to go, this is the stage on which Mikkelsen has to make the difference if he's to overhaul the Citroen for second.
WRC - Mexico: And Neuville's in - he shades Latvala by just 1.3s.

Ogier's lost time to Ostberg at the fourth split.
WRC - Mexico: Tanak update: his car is stopped near the refuel after the stage. According to WRC Live, the other drivers have moved on.
WRC - Mexico: Ostberg's stretching his advantage with each split point, maybe our faith in Mikkelsen was misplaced.

Ogier, on the other hand, is winding things up now. Getting closer to Ogier's benchmarks.
