IndyCar - St Petersburg We're getting closer to the green flag for the IndyCar season-opener at St Pete. The starting tyre designations have been released, and all of the drivers in the top 12 will start on the softer red tyres. A few of those who struggled in qualifying are gambling on running the harder tyre first.

NASCAR - Martinsville: The reason for Hamlin's titanic drop was an uncontrolled tyre penalty earlier in the race.
