Vinales dives under Marquez at Honda corner, but Zarco tries to follow through and hits Marquez! Marquez drops to fourth behind Rossi, Zarco drops to sixth but soon retakes fifth from Aleix Espargaro.

We've already been treated to two cracking races at Phillip Island today already in Moto3 and Moto2.
In Moto3, Joan Mir sealed the championship two rounds early with his ninth win of the year, albeit in somewhat fortuitous style as he was awarded the victory on countback when the race was red-flagged due to rain. Romano Fenati, who kept the title race open with a brilliant win in Motegi, could do no better than sixth. FULL REPORT
In Moto2, KTM secured its first intermediate class victory courtesy of Miguel Oliveira, who led a 1-2 for the Austrian marque ahead of team-mate Brad Binder. Franco Morbidelli opened up his points advantage over Thomas Luthi to 29 points, meanwhile, by finishing third. FULL REPORT

The MotoGP season is nearing its climax, with only Sepang and Valencia to go after today, and a sensational win by Andrea Dovizioso in Japan last weekend has closed the gap in the standings to Marc Marquez to just 11 points.
But Marquez struck back in qualifying on Saturday, scoring pole position over Maverick Vinales and Johann Zarco while Dovizioso languished in 11th place, lacking confidence after a crash in FP4.
