IndyCar - Detroit: Newgarden is in the wall hard. He'd just come out of the pits, put the power down out of Turn 1, and snapped straight into the concrete wall. He looks like he is fine, but CFH Racing really needs to stop burning through cars.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power heads in for slicks; Dixon follows suit.
IndyCar - Detroit: Bourdais is now all over Power. Further back Castroneves, who was still on wets, has been called in for slicks.

IndyCar - Detroit: Now those two have caught Dixon, and Bourdais slips past. Montoya is losing a ton of time behind the Kiwi.
IndyCar - Detroit: Daly and Hunter-Reay are both going to have to pit for fuel soon. A few places behind them, a great battle is playing out between Bourdais and Montoya.

IndyCar - Detroit: Coletti has been in for a new front wing and is back out on the track; Filippi's car is still undergoing repairs but it looks like he'll rejoin the action too. We're still under yellows, with Daly leading from Hunter-Reay, Power, Dixon, Bourdais and Montoya.
IndyCar - Detroit: Very different accidents there: Filippi lost the rear and spun back around into the outside wall; Coletti's was all understeer. Both were on slicks.

IndyCar - Detroit: The entire world is pitting. Montoya nearly got cleaned up by Bourdais as they were rejoining - he came within a couple of inches of hitting pitwall.
He lost two places on pit road while having a wing adjustment, and is now behind Dixon and Bourdais. Daly, Hunter-Reay and Power stayed out and are P1-3; Dixon is just behind them.

IndyCar - Detroit: That's a blow for Filippi, who was heading onto pit road just as it closed for the yellow and had to drive through and rejoin the field.
It's also wiped out Montoya's lead, AND means that no-one has had a chance to see how Andretti gets on with the slicks. This is going to be interesting.

IndyCar - Detroit: Andretti won big yesterday by swtiching to slicks early ... and just as he heads in and does it again, Rodolfo Gonzalez goes into the wall and brings out the yellows.

IndyCar - Detroit: The best battle at the moment is for fifth place, where Castroneves is having a hard time shaking off Rahal.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power has rejoined in 13th. It sounds like moisture found its way into his steering wheel, shorted out some electronics that caused the car to keep popping into neutral.
NASCAR - Dover: The order at the front is Johnson, Kahne, Truex, Harvick and Menard.

NASCAR - Dover: Another caution with two laps to go. Biffle runs into the back of the slow car of Mears and spins him down into Allmendinger.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power heads into the pits so that the team can try to figure out what is going on. They switch steering wheels and send him straight back out.

IndyCar - Detroit: Power slows. He's on the radio to the team as they try to work out what is wrong, and Dixon skates past into P2.

NASCAR - Dover: We're racing again with 10 laps to go. Johnson leads, Kahne is up into second, Truex into third, Harvick down to fourth.
IndyCar - Detroit: Dixon brushed the wall, but managed to press on with no apparent damage.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power has cut Montoya's lead down to just 1.0s. Dixon is 11s further back. We're seeing a dry line starting to form again on some sections of the circuit.

NASCAR - Dover: Hamlin's gone around, after receiving a tap from Bowyer. Somehow the rest of the field avoided him as he headed for the outside wall, although Kurt Busch did end up spinning into the wall too.
IndyCar - Detroit: The current top five is Montoya, Power, Dixon, Newgarden and Bourdais. No surprise that Dixon was able to leapfrog Newgarden there; he was right on the CFH driver's tail before that slow stop.

NASCAR - Dover: Restart with 17 to go. Johnson immediately takes the lead away from Harvick.

IndyCar - Detroit: And on lap 21, Montoya pits from the lead. It's a quick stop from the Penske crew/

NASCAR - Dover: Kyle Busch is out from third place after contact as he tried to lap Brian Scott with 25 laps to go.
He had enjoyed such a strong run up to this point in the second championship race of his return from injury. He's out of the car and walking just fine.

IndyCar - Detroit: We've seen a cluster of early stops from Filippi, Vautier, Hawksworth and Gonzalez. Up at the front, Montoya has pulled out another couple of tenths over Power.
IndyCar - Detroit: The two lead Penskes are in a race of their own at the moment. Third-placed Newgarden is 16s down the road.
NASCAR - Dover: Penske drivers Keselowski and Logano have eventually made trips to pit road. That puts Harvick back into the lead with 40 to go.
