Yellow flag
IndyCar - Detroit: Saavedra is in the wall near the fountain. He understeered out of Turn 7 and tore his left-front wheel off on the tyre barrier.
IndyCar - Detroit: Sato pits and changes to the harder tyres. Castroneves has also stopped, and Hinchcliffe now leads.
IndyCar - Detroit: Still under caution. The current top five:
1. Hinchcliffe
2. Conway
3. Munoz
4. Pagenaud
5. Huertas

4. Pagenaud
5. Huertas
Green flag
IndyCar - Detroit: Restart.
NASCAR - Dover: Justin Allgaier has just attempted to pit sideways. Literally. Spectacular if not effective.
IndyCar - Detroit: Hunter-Reay hasn't made much progress from the last row - the Indy 500 winner is currently 19th. It's a different story for Scott Dixon, who started alongside him and has already climbed up to ninth.

IndyCar - Detroit: Hinchcliffe is under huge pressure from Conway. The Brit is on newer black tyres, and Hinchchliffe's scuffed reds don't appear to have any answer to them.
IndyCar - Detroit: There's no doubting who has the quicker car at this point in the race, but Hinchcliffe is doing a nice job of driving defensively. Conway's cause isn't being helped by how his car is dealing with the bumps - often when he'd like to be putting down the power, his car is jumping skywards instead.
Further back, Power has just passed two Ganassis - Kimball and Dixon - in one move.

IndyCar - Detroit: Conway finally finds a way past Hinchcliffe, and immediately sets about opening a gap. Hinchcliffe now has Munoz and Pagenaud to deal with.
IndyCar - Detroit: Or not - Hinchcliffe and Munoz both pit, as does Justin Wilson.
NASCAR - Dover: Keselowski has worked his way back into the top three, having slipped back from his pole position. Johnson leads Gordon by 2.8s with 88 laps to go, with one round of pitstops to go.
IndyCar - Detroit: Wow, in just a few laps Conway has kicked out a lead of 9.9s. He's been helped by some of the guys behind him pitting, but he's pulling away from second-placed Aleshin at a race of 0.7s per lap.
IndyCar - Detroit: Current top five:
1. Conway
2. Power
3. Aleshin
4. Dixon
5. Kimball

4. Dixon
5. Kimball

IndyCar - Detroit: Conway pits and switches to the red tyres. His lead was 11.0s, and he rejoins eighth. He's the only driver in the field on the softer rubber.
Power now leads from Aleshin.
NASCAR - Dover: Final green flag pitstops (probably) are complete, with Johnson leading Keselowski and Gordon. Stewart is up to fourth, ahead of Kenseth.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power pits for a new set of tyres and rejoins directly ahead of ... Pagenaud. Aleshin now leads from Dixon, but both will pit at any time now.
IndyCar - Detroit: And that's exactly what they do, along with Kimball and Andetti. New leader: Castroneves ahead of Hawksworth.
NASCAR - Dover: Stewart grabs third from Gordon after a scary moment in traffic, and Kenseth passes Gordon a lap later.
IndyCar - Detroit: Castroneves has a pretty handy lead over Hawksworth: right now it's about 7.1s. But if yesterday's race taught us anything, it's that track position right now is no indication of what lies ahead. There are too many different strategies playing out, and we don't know when the next yellow might fall.
IndyCar - Detroit: Castroneves pits from the lead, and most of the other cars around him will do the same in the next lap or so. Once all of this cycles through, Conway will lead from Power.
NASCAR - Dover: Less than 50 to go now, and Keselowski is reeling in leader Johnson, the gap currently 2.6s.
IndyCar - Detroit: No he won't - Castroneves managed to get out ahead of Conway. That was pretty impressive.
Less impressive is Briscoe's attempt to slide in between Hawksworth and Sato at Turn 3. There was no gap there, and Sato ends up being spun. Meanwhile, Hawksworth gets a penalty for pitlane speeding.

Yellow flag
NASCAR - Dover: 39 to go and there's a yellow. Oooooooooh.
IndyCar - Detroit: No penalty for Briscoe. He can consider himself a bit lucky there.
Ed Carpenter Racing is tweeting about how Conway is experiencing no drop-off on his ageing reds, but the lap times appear to show otherwise. Not only that, he's just had the mother of all lock-ups.
Trouble also for Hunter-Reay, who was running out of fuel. He loses a pile of positions and rolls into the pits for a top-up.

NASCAR - Dover: Frantic action on pitlane, and the race off it is won by Bowyer (taking a two-tyre gamble) from Johnson, Kenseth, Stewart and Keselowski.
IndyCar - Detroit: Conway pits. Those tyres were absolutely torched.
Castroneves leads team-mate Power by just over 12s, with Pagenaud in third.
Castroneves leads team-mate Power by just over 12s, with Pagenaud in third.
Green flag
NASCAR - Dover: Bowyer restarts in the lead, but how long are those old left-side tyres going to last in this sprint to the finish?
NASCAR - Dover: Johnson takes the lead back almost immediately. Kenseth also passes Bowyer for second.
IndyCar - Detroit: Hinchcliffe pits from fourth. With every lap that passes under green, this is looking better and better for Castroneves.
IndyCar - Detroit: Helio pits from the lead. He had a lead of about 13.0s. Power pits from P2 at the same time, and Dixon now leads.
NASCAR - Dover: Johnson has done a great job of managing the lead, and with 10 laps to go he has a 2s lead over Kenseth and Keselowski.
Yellow flag
NASCAR - Dover: Keselowski grabs second from Kenseth as the yellow flies for debris from the shattered tyre of Casey Mears. Grandstand finish, anyone?
IndyCar - Detroit: Problems for Rahal, who appears to have clipped a wall and is limping around with a wonky left-rear.
Up front, normal service has resumed: Castroneves rejoined in the lead, 12s ahead of Power, with Dixon in third.

NASCAR - Dover: Everyone from sixth place back has pitted, but Johnson stays out in the lead. This should be good when we go back to green.
NASCAR - Dover: We're going to have a four-lap shoot-out to the finish. Or a green-white-chequered...
Green flag
NASCAR - Dover: As we get to the business end of this race, the restart order is Johnson, Kenseth, Keselowski, Boywer.
Checkered flag
NASCAR - Dover: Johnson owned the final restart, and kept Keselowski at bay to score victory. Kenseth finished third, ahead of Bowyer, Hamlin, Truex and Stewart.
IndyCar - Detroit: Power is taking 0.6s-0.8s per lap out of Castroneves, but he has a huge task ahead - his team-mate is still 10.1s down the road with 15 laps to go. Dixon is still right behind Power in third, which would be a great result given that he started from the back.
IndyCar - Detroit: We should also mention that fourth-place is currently occupied by Kimball, who started 20th. He's under some pressure from Pagenaud.
Yellow flag
IndyCar - Detroit: We haven't mentioned Sebastien Bourdais so far today, but we will now - because he's in the wall.
The caution is the last thing Castroneves wanted to see, because now he faces a restart with Power all over his rear.
