Moto3 - Valencia: Rins, a star in the making, is gracious in defeat. As Vinales picks up a flag at the side of the road, Rins celebrates a stellar season and ride in the finale.

The adversaries have hugged now, but Salom will be the unhappiest of the lot - disconsolate? Very possibly.
Moto 3 - Valencia: Vinales is soaking it all in. He stops at the side of the road and the crowd is going wild - they know what a great race they've just witnessed.

There's lots of rider-on-rider embracing going on, and it's all very emotional. Vinales' family, friends and crew went mental in the garage while the champion was jubilant crossing the line.
Moto3 - Valencia: Sensational finish! Rins dives by into the final corner with the latest of braking moves, and there's slight contact as he does so.

But the 17-year-old runs wide, and Vinales nails him on the exit. Folger, being the patient soul all race, also outdragged Rins to the line.

Remarkable end to a remarkable race - a remarkable season, come to that.
Moto3 - Valencia: Maverick Vinales wins the race and the 2013 Moto3 world championship!
Moto3 - Valencia: Nowhere for Rins to pass...is this Vinales' race, and title?
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins takes the lead into Turn 1. He defends into Turn 2 but Vinales dives by anyway.

Rins cuts back into Turn 3 but Vinales holds on!
Moto3 - Valencia: Now Vinales does make a pass stick, nailing Rins at what looked like Turn 8.

Last lap!
Moto3 - Valencia: No gap. No gap at all. Vinales is mighty on the brakes into Turn 1. He passes Rins into Turn 2, but Rins cuts back and drives past into Turn 3. Mighty stuff.
Moto3 - Valencia: Vinales tries to fight back halfway round the lap but Rins is braver on the brakes and holds on.

And now Folger is attacking Vinales! Rins has a bit of a gap...with two laps to go.
Moto3 - Valencia: So close into Turn 1! Rins gets a great run down the main straight, but can't make it stick...oh, yes he can! He dives by at Turn 2!
Moto3 - Valencia: 40 per cent of the leading group has shunted in this race. That tells you all you need to know.

Still Folger's in with a shout here, and it's just calming down a bit. Vinales leads from Rins, and with it will claim the title. Salom is up to 14th now.

Three laps to go.
Moto3 - Valencia: If Vinales and Rins needed any further warning about being rapid but cautious in Valencia...that was it.

Rins doesn't care. He shows his front wheel at Turn 1, but Vinales closes the door. Five to go!
Moto3 - Valencia: Oh, Miller! Just as AUTOSPORT was talking up his chances, he shunts. He's on the ground, his bike's somewhere else, and that's his race over.

Miller crawls over the tyre wall, and despite looking a bit worse for wear seems OK.
Moto3 - Valencia: Salom's fightback (and we use the term loosely) has him 15th at the moment. His team are going mental on the pitwall.
Moto3 - Valencia: Whoever leads over the line at the start of the last lap will probably not win this race, or this title - Vinales takes Rins into Turn 1.
Moto3 - Valencia: Credit to Folger and Miller - they are hanging on admirably.

No, that's not fair. They aren't hanging on - they are harrying the leaders brilliantly. Miller's just set the fastest lap of the race.
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins is all over Vinales, ducking from side-to-side and now dives past into Turn 1 again. Eight laps to go, what a race!
Moto3 - Valencia: Vinales passes Rins at Turn 1 after getting the hurry up from his team. "Salom KO," his pit board reads. Not quite, but the championship leader is 22s behind the leaders now - so as good as out.
Moto3 - Valencia: Disaster for Salom, who low-sides into the gravel on his own. He's rejoined, but is well down, and that's his title hopes over unless the other two wipe each other out.
Moto3 - Valencia: Great move from Rins as he dives by Vinales at Turn 1. You can hear the crowd - they are loving this.
Moto3 - Valencia: Salom and Vinales trade places at the front. Salom, the most experienced of the squabbling trio, takes the lead but then Vinales wrests it back - and Rins takes second from Salom!
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins looks up the inside of Salom - but the door is slammed in his face. Rins is the picture of youth - literally, being only 17 - and is rightly being tipped as a potential megastar after winning six races this year.

The next Marquez? He does look very special.
Moto3 - Valencia: Crash! Niklas Ajo high-sides while running 11th. That's Salom's team-mate - and we reckon heartbeats jumped in the garage when they saw that.

Ajo's on his feet, which is good to see.
Moto3 - Valencia: Vinales, a year on from losing the 2012 title and the bizarre back-and-forth with his team, is putting in a cool performance thus far.

If he doesn't win the title, it will be three years without a title for the 18-year-old. He was under a heap of pressure from his management in 2012, and desperately wants to bounce back from all of that today.
Moto3 - Valencia: And Vinales retakes the lead - in the same place he lost it. 15 laps to go.
Moto3 - Valencia: Disaster for John McPhee who low-sides into the gravel. He'd moved into the points prior to that, but he's OK.
Moto3 - Valencia: Salom, Vinales, Rins, Folger, Miller. Nothing between them at the start of lap nine.
Moto3 - Valencia: Salom shakes off Rins and, with 17 laps to go, takes the lead at Turn 1!
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins has closed right onto the back of Salom and harrying the points leader for all his worth. Vinales, though, still leads the way.
Moto3 - Valencia: The top five riders have broken away from the rest of the pack. The leading trio will need to be wary of Folger and Miller - who need leave nothing on the table in this battle.
Moto3 - Valencia: 20 laps to go, and Salom attacks Vinales at Turn 1. It doesn't come off, but he's looking racy is the man who has won more races than anyone else this year.
Moto3 - Valencia: Massive wobble for Rins out of the penultimate corner, but he survives. The top three, unlike in most races this season, have yet to shake off the attention of Folger and Miller in fourth and fifth.
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins dives past Salom at the top of the hill, but Salom drives right back by with better momentum.
Moto3 - Valencia: Rins is now harrying Salom for second, Vinales has a bike length or two worth of breathing space.
Moto3 - Valencia: End of the first lap, and it's Vinales from Salom and Rins - who got ahead of Folger after dropping back at the start.
Moto3 - Valencia: And Vinales doesn't hang about - he dives right by Salom to take the lead halfway round the opening lap.
Moto3 - Valencia: The Moto3 title decider is underway! Salom gets the jump ahead of Vinales, and Rins drops to fourth.
Moto3 - Valencia: The warm-up lap is finished and the riders line up in their places. Here we go - if either of the title protagonists wins the race, they will be champion.
Moto3 - Valencia: The riders are ready to leave the grid for the formation lap. Who will it be - Rins? Salom? Or Vinales?
