Lap 24/28: Rossi and Vinales trade lap records as they cross the line to start lap 24, Rossi posting a 1m32.537s. Gap down to 0.5s.
Lap 23/28: Rossi finally passes Zarco with six laps to go. Clinical move on the inside of the Dunlop chicane. Can the Doctor chase down his team-mate now? We are in for a grandstand finish here at Le Mans.

Keep an eye on Aleix Espargaro from here. He's in ninth and that Aprilia is very kind to its rear tyre. 'Buying it flowers just because' kind.
We actually only have one of the six satellite Ducatis still running, Baz in 12th, battling Suzuki;s Iannone. Four retirements with mechanical problems to go with Bautista's first-lap crash.
Lap 21/28: Pedrosa's challenge looks to have faded after he was caught out somewhat by his team-mate's crash. Behind, Crutchlow scythes past Dovizioso for fifth at Turn 8.
Lap 20/28: Vinales leads Zarco, Rossi, Pedrosa, Dovizioso, Crutchlow, Lorenzo, Miller, A.Espargaro, Folger, Iannone, Baz, P.Espargaro, Rabat and Smith. Outside of the points at the moment, Lowes and Guintoli.

Petrucci has retired. That is a double DNF for Pramac today.
Lap 19/28: If it stays like this, with Marquez's demise, Pedrosa would move up to third in the standings 20 points adrift of the lead.

Marquez lost the front going through the fast Turn 2. This is huge for the championship. His second this season.
Marquez lost the Honda under brakes heading up the hill towards Turn 2. That hurts his championship bid.
