Zarco slotted into second, 0.069s behind Dovizioso, but 0.048s ahead of Pedrosa. That's the difference between a Q2 berth and starting 13th.
Zarco takes second place after the chequered flag. Impressive final lap on those used soft tyres.
Folger improves to fifth. Team-mate Zarco is third but still on a lap.
Dovizioso goes fastest with a 1m32.298s. He's 0.117s clear of Pedrosa, who has also finished his last lap.
Lorenzo moves up to fourth, but is demoted to fifth by Bautista.
Zarco improves to aa 1m32.478s, but Pedrosa then goes quicker and moves into first with a 1m32.415s. That's 0.063s clear.
The order with three minutes to go: Zarco, Pedrosa, Dovizioso, Bautista, Iannone, Espargaro, Petrucci, Lorenzo, Folger, Barbera, Rabat, Guintoli, Lowes.
Pedrosa improves again and is back up to second, 0.044s slower than the Tech3 rookie.
Zarco lowers the benchmark to 1m32.509s. He's now two tenths clear. He's yet to head into pitlane and probably won't from here, sticking with the one set of tyres.
Dovizioso takes second and a spot in Q2 off Pedrosa with a 1m31.729s, that's just 0.042s slower than Zarco.
Lorenzo is among the riders to have pitted after their first runs, with half of the session remaining.
Running together on the road, Pedrosa and Dovizioso move up to second and third. Pedrosa is 0.103s behind Zarco, Dovizioso 0.265s adrift.
Zarco lowers the benchmark to 1m32.687s. That's 0.335s clear.
Bautista reclaims top spot with a 1m30.022s, Zarco and Iannone move into second and third.
Lorenzo is 0.124s ahead of Bautista. Then it's Barbera, Petrucci, Iannone, Zarco, Espargaro, Rabat, Dovizioso, Guintoli, Lowes, Pedrosa and Folger.
Bautista and Barbera turn the first laps, a 1m33.666s and 1m33.751s respectively.
We have Dovizioso, Zarco, Barbera, Petrucci, Bautista, Pedrosa, Iannone, Aleix Espargaro, Guintoli, Rabat, Folger and Lorenzo in this session. Only two will progress to Q2.
Lorenzo ended up down in 18th place in FP4. He is one of the riders contesting Q1.
Marc Marquez was seventh and one of the riders to crash, at Turn 3, with Jack Miller lucky to escape from a wild crash of his own, Jonas Folger and Ducati pair Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso coming unstuck on their outlaps.
We have just had the first dry session of the weekend, fourth practice. Maverick Vinales set the pace ahead of Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Johann Zarco and Cal Crutchlow.
Qualifying will start in a couple of minutes, and the big news is it will be dry, after yesterday's rain and even this morning's wet conditions.
