Q2 is go.
Nearly time for the 15-minute shootout that will settle the first four rows of the grid.

The KTMs will start 15th and 16th - 18th was its best starting position so far - led by Pol Espargaro. Then it's Bautista, Rabat, Abraham, Baz, Barbera, Lowes and Tsuda.
That means Iannone and Aleix Espargaro are going through. Petrucci misses out by 0.148s, while Dovizioso will have to settle for starting 14th.
Doesn't look like we're going to have any improvements, with riders backing off.

Lots of quick sectors coming in at the moment, with 60 seconds left on the clock.
Petrucci jumps up to second with a 1m39.090s.
The KTMs improve to go fourth and fifth, led by Smith.
Pretty fortunate to save that moment under brakes, Iannone was. He was not happy on the corner exit.
Iannone has made a mistake at Turn 2, he won't improve this lap.
Aleix Espargaro is 0.112s up on Dovizioso, with Iannone a further 0.017s further back in the fight for the top two.

Lowes sets a 1m41.706s as his first flier. That's at the foot of the times at the moment, but he's improving again now, as the other 12 riders rejoin him on track.
Lowes is starting his first flying lap as others head back to pitlane, with seven minutes to go.
Lowes has headed back out to start his session. Sounds like it was an electrical problem on that Aprilia.
That drops Bautista down to fourth in the blink of an eye, with Pol Espargaro and Smith fifth and sixth.

There's seven tenths between Iannone in first and Baz in third, decent margin with the top two going through to Q2. But lots of red sectors on the screen now.
Aleix Espargaro slots into second, 0.032s behind Iannone, demoting Baz to third. Then it's Bautista, Smith, Dovizioso, Rabat, Barbera, Abraham, Pol Espargaro, Petrucci and Tsuda at the moment.

Problems for Sam Lowes, it seems, his Aprilia has not managed to leave pitlane and he's running back to the garage to get on his other bike.

Q1 is go.
As ever, we have 13 riders in Q1, chasing two places in Q2. Today, they are: Andrea Iannone, Tito Rabat, Danilo Petrucci, Aleix Espargaro, Alvaro Bautista, Andrea Dovizioso - who made a mistake late in FP3 trying to crack the top 10 - Bradley Smith, Pol Espargaro, Hector Barbera, Loris Baz, Karel Abraham, Sam Lowes and Takuya Tsuda, who is filling in for Suzuki's injured rookie Alex Rins.

And keep an eye out for KTM as well. The MotoGP newcomer has taken a big step forward this weekend - it has tested here before - and is running a reconfigured engine, developed to help tame power delivery:

We say 'mostly' about Honda so far, as there are a couple of other stories to follow. Jorge Lorenzo has found form on the Ducati, after a torrid start to the season. This is what he had to say last night, he was second to Pedrosa in FP3 this morning: 
Maverick Vinales was only 16th, and replays showed him removing a visor tear-off in a very aggressive manner on his way back into pitlane. Work to do for the winner of this year's first two races, it seems.
Tech3 Yamaha rookies Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger were second and third in FP4, ahead of Jorge Lorenzo, Cal Crutchlow, Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Pedrosa, Pol Espargaro and Tito Rabat.

What can we tell you about the weekend so far? It's mostly about Honda. Dani Pedrosa topped the first three practice sessions, and team-mate Marc Marquez was quickest in FP4, which has just concluded.
