We'll be stepping up the MotoGP coverage another notch on Autosport.com in 2016, but before then we're back in Live action next weekend for Formula 1's Brazilian Grand Prix and the World Rally Championship finale in Wales.
Here's the full story of that race, the results and the final 2015 championship standings: 
The top three are receiving their trophies on the podium. Lorenzo's final championship winning margin is five points.
Marquez is inevitably going to be quizzed about whether he could've done more to pass Lorenzo later on. He's just been suggesting to TV crews that he was building up for a late attack but was thwarted by Pedrosa turning up on his tail.

And now Lorenzo falls to his knees before being embraced by the Yamaha crew.
Lorenzo is happily destroying his rear tyre with a parc ferme burnout.
Rossi is warmly applauded as he comes down pitlane.
Barbera's got himself an Open class champion's T-shirt. Slick work.
Pedrosa gives his crew a shrug in parc ferme. A shrug of 'that was all a bit too late'.
Lorenzo's celebrations include a dude in a shark costume and people dressed in his leathers from his previous 250cc and MotoGP titles.
Other business: Barbera is Open class champion, Hayden departs with a 17th place.

Would Rossi's race pace have been enough to finish any higher than fourth if he'd started with the leaders...? We'll never know.
Lorenzo fended off Marquez by 0.2s and Pedrosa by 0.6s in that incredible finish.
Lorenzo has had too many boos this year, but his fan club is in fine voice now, and rightly so.
Rossi crosses the line fourth, 19.6s back, and defeated in the title battle.

LORENZO WINS THE VALENCIA GRAND PRIX AND THE MOTOGP TITLE
Marquez is building up for a last push into the final corner.
A few corners to go, Lorenzo continues to somehow cling on.
Half a lap left...
Marquez carries huge speed into Turn 2 to try to close on Lorenzo, the top three are within 0.3s now.
One more lap for Lorenzo to hang on, 0.5s covers the three leaders...
Lorenzo is 0.3s ahead with just over a lap to go.
Pedrosa runs slightly wide and Marquez is back through - that helps Lorenzo a lot.
Pedrosa passes Marquez for second!
Lorenzo needs first or second to beat Rossi, third would not be enough.
The top three are nose to tail with two laps left, just 0.4s covers Lorenzo, Marquez and Pedrosa.
Pedrosa will be right with them by the end of this lap, he's now just 0.6s off the lead.
Lorenzo clings on with Marquez now just 0.081s behind.
Top three covered by 1.1s with three laps to go - Lorenzo still ahead of Marquez and Pedrosa but by very little.
And now Pedrosa is within 1.1s of the lead.
Marquez getting closer and closer and closer to Lorenzo...
Four laps left, Lorenzo leads Marquez by 0.2s and Pedrosa by 1.4s.
Marquez gets Lorenzo's lead down to less than a tenth in the middle sector there, with Pedrosa taking another few tenths out of them too.
Rossi is now nearly 18s off the lead in fourth and relying entirely on the Hondas to save his title.
Lorenzo leads Marquez by 0.2s and Pedrosa by 1.6s with five laps left. Pedrosa gained 0.2s overall on that one.
Pedrosa is flying, another three tenths gained on the leaders in the middle of the lap.
Pedrosa took 0.3s out of Lorenzo on that lap. He's 1.9s behind the leader with six laps left.
