Amid the frenzy of writing a race report - which will be online shortly - we neglected to tell you that Marquez fell on the podium. It was a pretty crazy old afternoon.

Crutchlow was 10th on the final lap but crashed out.
They are all things that happened. Plenty of late action, and no doubt a tense evening come up in the Ducati garage.
Dovizioso has picked up his bike and pushed it over the line in 13th place.
Replays show Iannone cleaned Dovizioso up.
Laverty is a career-best fourth, ahead of Barbera, Pol Espargaro, Bradl, Smith, Rabat and Bautista.
Pedrosa, who was 20 seconds behind that pack, comes through to take a surprised third.

Marquez wins!
Rossi is right over the back of Iannone coming onto the back straight, but the Ducati is able to pull away.
Dovizioso and Iannone are still keeping Rossi off the podium.
Last lap for Marquez.
Iannone makes a move down the inside of Rossi at the end of the back straight, but had a little bit too much speed, Dovizioso swooped to pass both of them!
Rossi now has the Ducati pair on his heels.
Two laps to go for Marquez, he leads Rossi by seven seconds.
Vinales lost the front of the Suzuki at Turn 1, there goes his shot at a maiden MotoGP podium. Looks like he hit a little bit of a damp patch.

Vinales is out!
Vinales draws alongside Rossi late on the back straight, but Rossi holds on, for now.
Rossi has found some more speed, but it's not enough to shake Vinales and the Ducatis. Marquez is 7.2s clear with four laps to go.
Looks like mechanical dramas for Redding, who was visibly frustrated as the Pramac Ducati slowed.
Problems for Redding. A shame as he was performing well in sixth.
Vinales is now all over the back of Rossi's Yamaha. Rossi responds with a personal best in the first sector.
Rossi was 1.2s slower than Marquez last lap, the gap is now 6.807s. Vinales is now on his tail, and the factory Ducatis are right with him. Rossi is in danger of falling down the order, he is struggling.
Vinales is now within 0.970s of Rossi.
Marquez was eight tenths faster than Rossi that last time around, the gap is out to 5.5 seconds.

Redding makes the move down the back straight. What a difference 24 hours makes for the Brit, after that tyre drama yesterday.
Redding is all over the back of Pedrosa's Honda, he wants sixth place.
A personal best first sector for Rossi, but it's two tenths slower than Marquez.
Vinales is now 2.2s behind Rossi, closer to the Italian than he is to Marquez.
