This is very possibly the most normal Q1 line-up we have seen this year. Every frontrunner is already in the pole shoot-out - the only riders looking somewhat out of place here are arguably Tech 3 Yamaha's Jonas Folger and KTM's Pol Espargaro.

A rather entertaining four-way scrap for the top spot in the pre-qualifying FP4 there, with Andrea Dovizioso snatching the top spot with his last lap. Marquez is second, ahead of Jorge Lorenzo and Maverick Vinales, who did a 19-lap race sim.
Valentino Rossi's training injury and resulting absence have dampened the mood somewhat – it is an Italy-based race after all – but the remaining championship contenders are all here and in strong form. The latter is especially true for Honda's Marc Marquez, who topped FP1 and FP3 and would've probably topped FP2 if not for a late crash.
