DTM - Oschersleben: Five minutes to go before qualifying and it's raining, albeit lightly.

MotoGP - Misano: Here we go then: the fight for pole at Oschersleben. Can anyone knock Marquez from top spot. Lorenzo, as is his wont, makes sure he is at the front of the field as they file out for the start of this 15-minute shootout.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: What an opening few laps from Kevin Magnussen. Having started 16th he is now sixth after just four racing laps, and he's already passed championship rival Stoffel Vandoorne, who started 11th.
ERC - Poland - SS4 results:

Stage: 1 Bouffier; 2 Kangur +0.3s; 3 Kopecky +1.5s; 4 Kajetanowicz +2.0s; 5 Kosciuszko +4.6s.

Overall: 1 Bouffier; 2 Kajetanowicz +18.5s; 3 Kubica +19.8s; 4 Kopecky +43.2s; 5 Solowow +48.0s.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: A change for the lead as Negrao locks up at Turn 1, leaving the path clear for team-mate Muller to move to the head of the field.
MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo's opening gambit is a 1m33.824s, the fastest lap anyone has set this weekend. Traffic restricts much of the rest of the field, who come round in the 1m36s bracket or worse. Just from having a clear lap, Crutchlow pops up into second.
MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo improves upon that next time round, but Marquez is on an absolute stonker...and sure enough he goes top with a 1m33.404s. Lorenzo four tenths of a second down, Crutchlow in third a full second off.
DTM - Oschersleben: Q1 is underway. The fastest 16 progress to Q2 with the remainder locked into their spots.
MotoGP - Misano: Marquez rams his advantage home with a second lap within four hundredths of a second of his best. Rossi meanwhile jumps into third, 0.621s down on the Honda man. Pedrosa the man to watch, as he's currently down in eighth.
DTM - Oschersleben: Drama straight away as Robert Wickens runs wide at Turn 5, sails through the gravel and somehow keeps his Mercedes out of the barrier.

That's all due to being on slick tyres on a damp track. It looks very tricky out there.
DTM - Oschersleben: A point proven as Tambay has an identical moment at Turn 3.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: No adding of insult to injury for da Costa - the stewards are taking no further action after investigating his clash with Aleshin.

Up front Muller is flying and has opened his lead up to 16 seconds. Magnussen is now up to fifth, with Vandoorne close behind, as they both put pressure on Stevens.
DTM - Oschersleben: The top spot has changed hands about 15 times in the past minute as they all scrabble to get a slick time in the books before the rain gets any heavier.

Currently Tambay is the fastest man in 1m21.578s Farfus and Paffett are next up.
MotoGP - Misano: Odd scenes as something falls off Crutchlow's Tech 3 bike and disintegrates on track. Two minutes to go, and we still have a top six of Marquez, Lorenzo, Rossi, Bautista, Crutchlow and Bradl.
MotoGP - Misano: Rossi goes second now, 0.2s down on Marquez. Espgararo follows the Italian to vault into fourth. Lorenzo and Pedrosa both on flyers though.
DTM - Oschersleben: The rain has stopped, the wipers are no longer being used, and Albuquerque sticks in a 1m20.723s lap - as fast as anything we saw in the totally dry practice session this morning.
MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo falls just 0.024s shy of demoting Marquez, but it might all be academic - the Spaniard is three tenths up after three sectors, and sure enough comes round in a 1m32.915s. Stunning - its the first time MotoGP has ever been in the 1m32s around Misano.

Pedrosa salvages fourth at the death, giving him a share of the second row with Crutchlow and Espargaro.
ERC - Poland: The fifth stage of the day, a re-run of the Baranowo test, goes live at 15:02 local time (14:02 BST) and it is tipping it down with rain, which is going to make the already difficult conditions even worse if it continues.

Marc Marquez MotoGP 2013

MotoGP - Misano - Qualifying:

1 Marquez; 2 Lorenzo; 3 Rossi; 4 Pedrosa; 5 Crutchlow; 6 Espargaro; 7 Bradl; 8 Bautista; 9 Dovizioso; 10 Hayden.
DTM - Oschersleben: Five minutes left and lurking in the danger zone are Werner; Tomczyk; Vietoris; Green; Juncadella and Priaulx.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Magnussen picks off Sirotkin and Negrao in quick succession to take second place and put some distance between himself and Vandoorne. Muller leads him by 27s.
DTM - Oschersleben: Wickens takes a chicane bollard off with his front-left corner and pits, possibly to allow HWA to investigate any potential damage to his Mercedes.

The Nurburgring winner is second currently, behind Albuquerque.
DTM - Oschersleben: Wittmann goes fastest with a minute to go and that has pushed championship leader Rockenfeller into the drop zone!

Priaulx, Juncadella, Hand, Vietoris and Merhi are down there too.
DTM - Oschersleben: Q1 ends with Wittmann fastest and Rockenfeller finding searing speed to jump up from 19th to second and secure his spot in Q2.

What a lap from Rocky!
DTM - Oschersleben: Eliminated in Q1 are: 17 Mortara; 18 Hand; 19 Priaulx; 20 Juncadella; 21 Vietoris; 22 Merhi.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Just to prove a point, Muller responds to Magnussen's pace in clear air and extends his lead. Sirotkin is third, while Vandoorne has his work cut out keeping Negrao behind him for fourth.
DTM - Oschersleben: So Vietoris, the nearest title rival to Rockenfeller, is 21st fastest. He'll be elevated at least one spot when the grid penalties to Juncadella and Paffett are applied.
DTM - Oschersleben: Q2 is now getting underway. Eleven minutes from which the 10 fastest driver progress to Q3 and positions 11-16 are set for the race.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Result - 1 Muller; 2 Magnussen; 3 Sirotkin; 4 Vandoorne; 5 Aleshin; 6 Melker; 7 Sainz; 8 Stevens; 9 Pic; 10 Laine.

Late heartbreak for pole-sitter Negrao, who spins at the end of the penultimate lap and loses fifth place.
ERC - Poland: SS5 has begun and Kopecky is first to tackle the 12.1-kilometre course. You have to wonder if the current championship leader regrets choosing his running position after last night's qualifying stage...
Robert Wickens DTM 2013

Robert Wickens DTM 2013

DTM - Oschersleben: Two massive slides from Wickens on a flying lap. No surprise to cut to the on-board camera and see his windscreen covered in raindrops.

Still not wet enough to get rid of the slicks though.
ERC - Poland: ...and here is the Czech with a time of 6m30.8s.

"The grip is getting much better with the bigger ruts," says a rather downcast Kopecky, who also confirmed our suspicion that he's not happy running first.
Moto2 - Misano: No let up from Misano - Moto2 qualifying is already underway. Nakagami set the pace in the first two practice sessions, before Esteve Rabat hit the front in the third. Pol Espargaro has also been running well, finishing ahead of title rival Scott Redding in all but the first session.
DTM - Oschersleben: Currently Jamie Green heads the order with Albuquerque and Rockenfeller making it an all-Audi top three.

In the drop zone with four minutes left are Tambay, Wickens, Ekstrom, Wehrlein, Wittmann and Glock.
DTM - Oschersleben: And Glock is not going to get himself into Q3 like that...

The German sails off the track at Turn 3 and just manages to stop his yellow BMW before reaching the Armco.
DTM - Oschersleben: Tambay has an off too, taking a gravelly excursion at the exit of Turn 5 and rejoining the track at the apex of Turn 7.
ERC - Poland: Rising Polish star Kosciuszko is next to finish, 3.8s slower than Kopecky. He suffered a back injury in Germany last month, but he claims it's not causing him any problems.

"Back is quite OK," he says. "It's quite soft and it is very difficult to feel and I am not comfortable with that - it is difficult to keep the car on the road."
Jamie Green DTM 2013

Jamie Green DTM 2013

DTM - Oschersleben: End of Q2: Green tops the timesheets with Albuquerque, Rockenfeller and Farfus next up.

The rain is getting heavier, and that has prevented anybody from improving their time or position.
ERC - Poland: Bouffier posts the second quickest time through Baranowo. The Frenchman completed the stage 1.7s slower than Kopecky.
Eliminated in Q2: 11 Tambay; 12 Wickens; 13 Ekstrom; 14 Wehrlein; 15 Wittmann; 16 Glock.
