The current order is Rossi, Morbidelli, Bagnaia, Zarco, Oliveira, Abraham, Mir, Crutchlow, Rins, Rabat, Syahrin, Iannone, but it is all set to change.
Rossi now does a 1m37.667s and leads by 1.5s, as nearly everyone pits for slicks. Seven minutes to go.
Rins, Crutchlow and Iannone quickly reacted, they are now also out on slicks.
Rossi takes the lead with that one, closely followed by Morbidelli. Bagnaia is best of the rest but he is nearly a second off.
Franco Morbidelli is our first leader with a 1m39.284s. Rossi's time is a 1m42.682s.
Rossi is definitely slowest on track at the moment, but he is not miles off. If the track improves enough, his gamble might pay off in the end.
Hard to tell if it's actually raining at the moment, but the field goes out on track on wet tyres, most of them on mediums.
At least one of Valentino Rossi, who could start from the outside of the top 10 for the third time this year, Alex Rins, who is still chasing a top six result in a qualifying session, or Cal Crutchlow, who looked like a solid podium contender on Friday, will be really disappointed after Q1.
Q1 line-up: Morbidelli; Crutchlow; Bagnaia; Rossi; Mir; Rins; Zarco; Abraham; Iannone; Oliveira; Rabat; Syahrin.
FP4 is the first session not topped by a Yamaha. Maverick Vinales in particular has looked strong so far, setting the pace on Friday in the dry, and also in the wet in FP3.
Despite crashing, Marquez still topped FP4, beating Danilo Petrucci by three tenths.
Last year, it was home hero @JohannZarco1 the one to start the #FrenchGP from pole? 💪

Weather hasn't been kind to riders today - it's cold, wet and confusing. The track was never properly wet, but light drizzles and 15°C air temperature meant the asphalt never really dried up. The track looked good enough for slicks ahead of FP4 but Marc Marquez crashed instantly while cruising through Turn 9 and the little action the session had afterwards was with wet tyres.
