WorldRX - Belgium: Johan Kristoffersson set a fantastic time in the last race of heat four at Mettet to top the timesheets and land top spot at the intermediate classification. Petter Solberg had been fastest until Kristoffersson's late improvement.
Those not to make it into the semi’s include Robin Larsson, who was fourth fastest in heat four but spins in earlier heats means he doesn't make cut, joined by Timur Timerzyanov and Liam Doran.

Moto2 - Le Mans: That was a perfectly-judged ride from Luthi, who made it look easy once he'd got clear out in front.
Everything his rivals threw at him he managed professionally.

Trophy
Moto2 - Le Mans: Victory, a brilliant victory, for Thomas Luthi!
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luthi starts his finale lap and he's well clear - but Zarco's dropped back from Rabat and isn't far ahead of Lowes (less than a second) with a lap remaining.
Crash
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luis Salom makes it two Pons riders down to go down in the space of a lap!
A furious, hunchbacked (his airbag's gone off) Salom is gesticulating wildly, angered at Morbidelli who Salom feels cut him up.

Crash
Moto2 - Le Mans: Rins was looking impatient behind Morbidelli and the poleman loses it at the chicane! He's down, restarts the bike but drops right down the field.
Disastrous race.
Disastrous race.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Four laps to go, Luthi's lead is 1.7s.
Rins fights back at Morbidelli at the same place he lost the position a lap ago, but the Italian stands firm.

Moto2 - Le Mans: Rins has just lost fifth to Morbidelli at the chicane. The Italian's been on the move, impressively, this race.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Rabat's not making much ground here. In fact, he's losing it. Luthi's 1.4s clear now. And Zarco's not giving Rabat an easy time having been overtaken.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Rabat's been following Zarco very, very closely for a couple of laps and now the champion makes his move, diving inside at the chicane. Eight to go. Can he catch Luthi?
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luthi's in control of this one with 10 laps to go. Every time his lead gets trimmed he knocks it back up again.
Lowes is matching the pace of the front three but making no inroads.
Lowes is matching the pace of the front three but making no inroads.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luthi's getting his bike at stupid angles at times on this track. It looks like the front is going to snap away from him, but then the back comes round and he backs it in beautifully.
It's pretty but not quick. His lead was up to a second but he's lost betwen 0.1s and 0.2s on that last lap.

Moto2 - Le Mans: Lowes, much like Zarco was/is with Luthi, is edging closer to the two bikes in front of him.
It's a bit of a slow-burner this, with 13 laps still to go.
It's a bit of a slow-burner this, with 13 laps still to go.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Zarco's just chipping away at the lurid Luthi's lead at the moment. It's nothing like enough to make a move, but he is edging closer.
Crash
Moto2 - Le Mans: Folger's crashed! He limps away. That's a pretty accurate way to end a dismal weekend.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luthi's lead is 1.1s, with Zarco and Rabat close but not squabbling over second. Lowes has fallen back, but is not under pressure from Rins.
This one's not as exciting as we'd hoped. Not yet, anyway.

Moto2 - Le Mans: One reason for Lowes' current lack of pace may be his soft rear tyre - most others are on mediums. Is he nursing them at this stage?
Moto2 - Le Mans: Rins has passed Nakagami for fifth. It'll be the man who matched his qualifying time who will be next in his firing line.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Fastest lap for Luthi out front as he bids to break clear of Zarco - and he is at the moment. Lowest isn't a million miles behind Zarco and Rabat.
Crash
Moto2 - Le Mans: Shunt! Rossi and Marquez. The Moto2 ones. Is that a precursor for later on?
Moto2 - Le Mans: Great move from Luthi to get tucked up underneath Zarco over the line and dive by into the chicane.
Rabat has joined this fight for the lead but Lowes doesn't have the pace at this stage of the race.

Moto2 - Le Mans: Rins has got back up to sixth after a bruising opening lap or two. He's got 23 laps to get back to the front.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Luthi attacks Zarco for the lead! He briefly gets in front but it is only brief.
Behind, Lowes has indeed fallen behind Rabat now.
Behind, Lowes has indeed fallen behind Rabat now.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Rabat tries to slide past Lowes, and he does - but then runs wide, so drops back to fourth. Somehow he keeps it upright.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Well that was pointless. Luthi's just nailed Lowes on the brakes into the chicane.
Rins crossed the line ninth.

Moto2 - Le Mans: Pretty hectic opening lap at Le Mans and this is the lead order:
1 Zarco; 2 Lowes; 3 Luthi; 4 Rabat; 5 Nakagami; 6 Kallio.
1 Zarco; 2 Lowes; 3 Luthi; 4 Rabat; 5 Nakagami; 6 Kallio.
Moto2 - Le Mans: The massive field negotiates the Dunlop chicane without drama - but at the front Zarco dived past Lowes to take the lead.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Pooor start from Rins, Lowes gets the holeshot.
Moto2 - Le Mans: On the grid, here we go...
Moto2 - Le Mans: Here's the grid then:
1 Rins; 2 Lowes; 3 Zarco
4 Rabat; 5 Nakagami; 6 Luthi
7 Salom; 8 Simeon; 9 Simon.
Morbidelli's 12th, while Folger's down in 15th.

4 Rabat; 5 Nakagami; 6 Luthi
7 Salom; 8 Simeon; 9 Simon.
Morbidelli's 12th, while Folger's down in 15th.
Moto2 - Le Mans: Here are the points ahead of this one. As you'll see, Speed Up's Lowes' pace isn't the problem - it's converting it into results.
He'll have another fine chance to add to his tally now.
1 Johann Zarco 73
2 Jonas Folger 57
3 Alex Rins 49
4 Thomas Luthi 43
5 Franco Morbidelli 43
6 Sam Lowes 41

Actually, it can't get much closer.
Alex Rins bagged pole position for the Moto2 race you're about to witness/follow, beating Sam Lowes by a mammoth 0.000s.
Yes, that's right, identical times. As if this couldn't get more exciting.
