NASCAR - Martinsville: Edwards' spin was a solo one, and neatly caught.

Leaders will now pit, this could be crucial.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Bad news for Bowyer, Edwards has an incident and brings out the yellow with 42 laps left.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Bowyer is making a break, he's rapidly pulled a one-second cushion on Johnson.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Conway erased a 2.0s gap in three laps to gain that spot, and he's already 2.2s ahead of the Andretti car. He's on the red tyres, whereas Hunter-Reay is on the harder primes.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: It looks very weird to see the Ed Carpenter Racing car blast past Ryan Hunter-Reay for third on a street circuit, but it has just done precisely that. Of course, the fact that it's Mike Conway in the cockpit rather than oval-specialist Carpenter himself is rather significant in this regard.
NASCAR - Martinsville: As the traffic gets thicker, Bowyer gets past Johnson to lead with 50 laps to go.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Bowyer came with Kurt Busch and now passes him for second. We're into the final 60 laps.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: The new top five are Power, Castroneves, Hunter-Reay, Conway and Sato. The lead four all have large buffers, but Sato is just about within sight of Dixon.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Kurt Busch has a good turn of speed here, he's right onto Johnson's tail for the lead.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Sato pits, and Power moves back into the lead. It looks like Taku has rejoined in fifth behind Conway.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Bowyer passes Edwards for third as Kurt Busch tries to hunt down Johnson. Leaders about to hit traffic.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Johnson surges clear as Kurt Busch batters his way past first Bowyer, then Edwards to get into second.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Now Dixon has pitted, and Power is back up to second. Sato's lead is 10.5s, but he'll be making his own stop imminently.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Edwards didn't even lose any time in that collision and he takes the restart second behind Johnson. 83 laps to go.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power pits from the lead. He rejoins in fifth, 11.8s behind new leader Sato, but with clean air to work with - fourth-placed Dixon is 4.0s down the road.

Castroneves and Hunter-Reay pit next time around.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Edwards hits Kenseth in the pits as he accerelates out.

Kenseth is neatly spun into the Gibbs pit stall and parks exactly where he should be, just facing backwards.

Unruffled (because the same happened at Daytona), the JGR crew services Kenseth anyway.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power's lead has grown to nearly 11.0s.

At the other end of the field, Hinchcliffe remains firmly rooted to last place, 0.9s behind Carlos Huertas. Apparently the Andretti driver is suffering with electrical problems.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Everyone can now pit and easily get enough fuel to get to the end. Drivers are likely to want more tyres later though if yellows allow.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Truex was spun out by Keselowski, who is over 30 laps down...
NASCAR - Martinsville: Yellow back out as Martin Truex Jr has a spin.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Johnson's just given Justin Allgaier a big bump while lapping the HScott driver. Even today's dominant man's car looks pretty battered.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Johnson has led 230 laps so far so will definitely get the most-laps-led bonus.

We've had 28 lead changes among 12 drivers, so the race certainly doesn't lack competitiveness, but Johnson is always able to get himself back ahead.
NASCAR - Martinsville: We're at lap 400 of 500, here's the order up front:

1 Johnson
2 Edwards
3 Kurt Busch
4 Bowyer
5 Harvick
6 Earnhardt
7 Logano
8 Almirola
9 Vickers
10 Allmendinger
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power has stepped up his pace, and now leads by 5.5s. He made his last stop five laps earlier than Sato did, so he needs to make the most of the clear air before he needs to pit again.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Montoya is straight into the pits for new tyres. Word is that he has also had intermittent gearbox problems.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Edwards is keeping Johnson honest in traffic at the moment.

Stewart-Haas is making progress, Kurt Busch is third and Kevin Harvick has risen to fourth after a very quiet race so far.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power's lead has stabilised at about 3.2s. Behind him, Sato has created a bit of breathing space between himself and Castroneves.

Meanwhile, Montoya is being kept busy as part of a lively group in the middle of the pack. He has run as high as 11th, although right now he's 14th ...

... make that 16th. Both Andretti and Hawksworth managed to go inside him at Turn 1.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Johnson stays clear at the restart, and Edwards moves into second as Bowyer begins losing ground.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Now Sato is under pressure from Castroneves. Power is already 2.5s up the road.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power hooks around the outside of Sato at Turn 1 and claims the lead. Great move by the Penske driver.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Sato has rejoined in the lead, just ahead of Will Power. It's the first time that the AJ Foyt driver has really been under pressure.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Leaders Sato and Hunter-Reay pit, and third-placed Castroneves follows suit next time around.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Very brief restart as the yellow comes straight back out for debris.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Power pits and rejoins in ninth, promoting his team-mate Castroneves to third.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Everyone pits and Johnson and Bowyer keep first and second. Edwards jumps back up to third.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Marco Andretti stops to get rid of his primaries. He saved an extra set of new reds for the race, so it will be interesting to see what he can do with those later on.

Slow stop for Hawksworth, with one of the BHA wheel guys struggling to get the nut on. That will cost the Brit a few spots.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Replays show Larson spun by himself out of Turn 2, nearly taking Biffle into the wall.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Another yellow as Larson spins.
NASCAR - Martinsville: Bowyer takes second back from Earnhardt. Johnson is by himself up front again.
IndyCar - St Petersburg: Helio Castroneves becomes the latest driver to gain a position at Kanaan's expense.

It's worth mentioning rookies Carlos Munoz and Jack Hawksworth at this point, both of whom are well inside the top 10 and looking solid.
