DTM - Nurburgring: Disaster for Spengler as he's helped off by Albuquerque and drops from sixth to 15th.

Funny that, a rival of Audi's main challenger taken off by another Audi driver with no points...
DTM - Nurburgring: With 12 laps remaining, Wickens is just 13.4s behind Rockenfeller, having taken more than 10s out of the Audi man's lead in the last 10 laps!

With Rockenfeller still needing another stop, Wickens is looking very good to win this race!
FIA GT - Slovakia Ring: Ortelli has been awarded a drive-through for a jump start. It looks pretty conclusive from the replays. Simonsen moves into the lead from Zonta.
DTM - Nurburgring: A quite amazing scrap for sixth featuring Tambay, Spengler, Ekstrom, Wehrlein, Molina, Wittmann, Albuquerque and Green lasts a whole lap as nobody completes the lap in the same place they started it. Sensational!
DTM - Nurburgring: Order with everyone having stopped twice is 1 Rockenfeller; 2 Wickens; 3 Farfus; 4 Vietoris; 5 Tomczyk; 6 Spengler; 7 Tambay; 8 Ekstrom; 9 Wehrlein; 10 Molina.
DTM - Nurburgring: Farfus pits a lap later and returns in third place.
DTM - Nurburgring: Rockenfeller makes his second stop and keeps the lead as Wickens also pits. Both fit option slicks as Farfus stays out and grabs second.
DTM - Nurburgring: Juncadella spins out of the race at Turn 8. He'd been ninth.
DTM - Nurburgring: Spengler is saved by Tambay pitting along with Molina, Albuquerque and Ekstrom.

All four of them exit behind Tomczyk, who pitted a lap earlier for slicks. This could be a great result for the 2011 champion!
DTM - Nurburgring: Tomczyk pits from seventh - right behind the battling pair. Spengler this time makes it by at the hairpin, but he's given a 1s laptime penalty, so will surely let the Frenchman back by as he slows.
FIA GT - Slovakia Ring: The order - behind the safety car - is Ortelli, Simonsen, Zonta, Zuber, Mayr-Melnhof.

Replays of the start show clear contact between Loeb and Kox's Lambo, which then tagged Day in the Charouz Merc.
DTM - Nurburgring: Spengler gets fifth from Tambay at Turn 7, but the Frenchman comes back at him into the chicane. Spengler responds by giving Tambay a nudge up the rear, causing both to miss the corner.

They retain fifth and sixth spots, but are both now under investigation by race officials.
DTM - Nurburgring: The rain has stopped, and as that happens Mortara pits. Graphics on the TV screen suggests he's put option slicks on, but we'll have to check if that's the case.
DTM - Nurburgring: Molina goes off under pressure from Vietoris. He's dropped from fourth to 11th as he misses his turn-in for the hairpin and has to use the escape road to recover the track. A shame for the Spaniard.
FIA GT - Slovakia Ring: Ortelli jumps into the lead. Woeful start by Loeb, who pulls over on opening lap with the front left hand corner on fire. That brings out the safety car.
DTM - Nurburgring: Glock, lying 18th, has been given a one-second laptime penalty for exceeding track limits and gaining an advantage.

That means he has to be at least one second slower than his prescribed delta time next time round, or he'll get a drive-through.
DTM - Nurburgring: Vietoris is motoring. He's nailed Spengler and Tambay in two laps to climb to fifth. He's just set the fastest lap too.
FIA GT - Slovakia Ring: The cars are off on their formation lap.

DTM - Nurburgring: Farfus edges inside Tambay for third at Turn 7 and Molina follows him through. The Frenchman is now fifth and has a rapidly closing Spengler for company now.
DTM - Nurburgring: Wickens isn't done yet, the Canadian making a sensational round-the-outside move on both Farfus and Tambay in one go at Turn 2.

Absolutely sensational! He's channelled his inner Lewis Hamilton there!
DTM - Nurburgring: There's a cracking battle for second between Tambay, Farfus, Molina and Wickens, who are tied together.

And as we say that, Wickens nips inside Molina for third at the chicane on what is lap 18 of 49.
DTM - Nurburgring: Rockenfeller is off at Turn 1. A repeat of his first-lap off. He gets going again, having only lapped a couple of second slower than previously.
DTM - Nurburgring: Rockenfeller is 22.7s clear, but crucially still has to stop twice as his first stop came before the pit window opened.

He's rapidly getting to the stage where he can stop and still come out in the lead. That fact won't have escaped Audi, which may well be instructing Tambay not to push too hard.
DTM - Nurburgring: Vietoris and Werner nearly collide while fighting for eighth.

Werner heads for the pitlane just as Vietoris pulls to his right to attempt a pass out of the chicane, the BMW man having to jink hard left before taking his intended course.

Juncadella, right behind them, also pits as he's been given a drive-through for the Glock incident.
DTM - Nurburgring: Glock and Juncadella collide at Turn 1, the BMW man spinning as the Spaniard takes the place. Glock drops to 13th.

We'll call that one a racing incident as Glock takes a wide line, Juncadella a tight one, leading to the bash.
DTM - Nurburgring: Rockenfeller has a huge 16.9 second lead, all thanks to that inspired early pit call. Tambay made it up from fifth to second as a result of stopping on lap five.
DTM - Nurburgring: Scheider's out. Slight contact with Albuquerque exiting the complex turns him across the bows of Green. The German bounces off the tyre wall and retires in the pits with his car crabbing badly.
DTM - Nurburgring: With everyone now on wets, the order is: 1 Rockenfeller; 2 Tambay; 3 Farfus; 4 Molina; 5 Wickens; 6 Werner; 7 Spengler; 8 Tomczyk; 9 Glock; 10 Ekstrom.
DTM - Nurburgring: Molina pits at the end of lap six and that promotes Rockenfeller, amazingly, into the lead. He was last three laps ago!
DTM - Nurburgring: Wittmann's off! He'd just taken the lead, but he's now run straight on at the hairpin and hit the barrier. He gets going again, but that's his victory hopes done. He was still on slicks, remember.
DTM - Nurburgring: Pit window opens and virtually the whole field pits. The notable execptions are Wittmann and Molina, who take first and second places, and Rockenfeller.
DTM - Nurburgring: Lap five and Rockenfeller is up to P14 and lapping quicker than anybody else. He's now onto the tail of a pack that features about half the field.
DTM - Nurburgring: We're racing again with Wittmann now putting Farfus under extreme pressure.

Rockenfeller is making serious ground. In one lap he's gone from 21st to 17th!
Nurburgring: Rockenfeller pits for wets at the end of lap two. Smart move. It's teaming now and barely anyone is on the right tyres.
DTM - Nurburgring: End of lap 1: 1 Farfus; 2 Wittmann; 3 Molina; 4 Paffett; 5 Tambay; 6 Wickens; 7 Juncadella; 8 Glock; 9 Tomczyk; 10 Spengler.
DTM - Nurburgring: Replays show contact between Tomczyk and Hand at Turn 1, causing Rockenfeller to go off to avoid the pair.

Safety car is out.
DTM - Nurburgring: It continues at Turn 2 as Wickens hits Mortara, causing the Italian to spin Ekstrom around. Scheider has his own spin. DIsaster for Audi!
DTM - Nurburgring: Farfus leads away from Wittmann, but carnage at Turn 1 as Spengler nudges Mortara and triggers a chain reaction that ends up with Rockenfeller and Hand off.

Hand is beached in the gravel and out of the race while points leader Rockenfeller spin-turns around and gets going again.
DTM - Nurburgring: Nobody takes the option to pit at the end of the formation lap.
