Kanaan pits on lap 144 of 200, that will help climb him back into contention as he got the wave around.
Andretti is happy with Rossi being inside the top 10, having made him run sizable fuel saving earlier in the race.
Carpenter, Pagenaud, Power, Hunter-Reay, Castroneves, in particular, have the tyre life to make that work.

Those who pitted earlier will probably need a second stop without significant yellow intervention.
That caution makes it possible for one stop until the end, but fuel and tyres will be marginal at the end.
Pitstops underway on lap 142. Munoz, Kimball, De Melo, Chaves, Wilson, Daly stop.

Power now leads.
Under caution, the field is:

1. Munoz

Watching the replay, Bourdais tries to correct it through the straight heading into Turn 4 but can't get it back under control.

He had been running behind Rossi in 13th before he hit the wall.
It's Bourdais! He comes to a rest at Turn 4! He spun and hit the outside of the wall and stops in the middle of the track.
And this makes things interesting, we have a yellow!
Newgarden pits on lap 136 of 200, with Rahal then inheriting the lead.
Those leading three are running a different strategy to the rest of the field.
The new Indy 500 race leader is Newgarden ahead of Rahal and Wickens.
Bourdais is running over a 35 lap stint and pits on lap 143. There are few drivers and teams able to pull off strategy gambles like Bourdais and Dale Coyne Racing.

He led his first Indy 500 laps before stopping from the lead.
Dixon pits on lap 130, with Kanaan also coming in. That's a short stint for Kanaan considering his puncture.
Hunter-Reay comes in on lap 129, he's right in the window for one more stop. Will the race play the way he needs it too?
Castroneves and Power pit now on lap 129 of 200. Pagenaud makes it three Penske cars in.
Marco Andretti drops out of the top 10 by pitting on lap 126. The pit window is opening for the leading drivers.
Gaps between the top five drivers are all around the one-second mark, which is symptomatic of the way this race has played out either side of the cautions.
2017 Indy Lights champion Kyle Kaiser is the fifth driver to retire from the race.
And here's the latest look at the leaderboard:

Position after 118 laps of 200

We have had surprising stints of over 40 laps from Dixon, Rossi and Bourdais in this race, which shows just how much a caution at the right time and good conservation can flip a driver's day on its head.
While all that pitlane activity was going on, Power took over the lead ahead of Carpenter and Pagenaud.

We have 92 laps of the 200 to go.
Newgarden is also aiming for a two stop to the end option, but his strategist Tim Cindric plays down the likelihood of it working.

Likely option right now is three, the tyres are the determining factor in stint length.
Rahal pits from the lead, along with Wickens, Munoz and Wilson on lap 107 of 200.

They could potentially go two stops until the end if they play the conservation game spot on and have cautions go their way.
Veach has left the pitlane with flames from the engine cover. No issues reported, but quite the scene!
Newgarden has pitted from third. That puts him back on-sequence.
Kanaan has a puncture, meaning an unscheduled fourth stop. That could prove costly.
Patrick on her crash: "I don't really know what happened. It's not what you are targeting. I just came around on exit. There were little positives through the race, it was tough to drive. But I was not expecting it. It was good to be back here."
And they've stopped, meaning your lap 99 order is now:

Top eight positions
1. Rahal
2. Wickens
3. Newgarden
4. Munoz
5. Hildebrand
6. De Melo
7. Wilson
8. Power
Servia, Bourdais and Harvey are the three drivers yet to stop for a third time, and are the current top three as a result.
Scott Dixon heads in on lap 96, meaning he does not take the lead. Rossi pits from 11th too.

Right now, it's Oriol Servia in the lead ahead of Bourdais.
Power, Castroneves and Hunter-Reay are in now on the next lap.
