Germany MotoGP race

Two seconds and a half between Marquez and Rins now. A tad demoralising.
It was a Turn 1 trip through the gravel for Bagnaia, who has rejoined the race in 19th - around a sector ahead of Oliveira, who remounted after his crash.
We've lost Pecco Bagnaia somewhere by the looks of it, though there has been no crash notification.
Current order: 1 Marquez, 2 Rins, 3 Vinales, 4 Crutchlow, 5 Miller, 6 Dovizioso, 7 Petrucci, 8 Morbidelli, 9 Rossi, 10 A Espargaro, 11 Mir, 12 P Espargaro, 13 Bradl, 14 Nakagami, 15 Syahrin, 16 Rabat, 17 Iannone, 18 Abraham.
A second and a half now between Marquez and Rins, with Vinales a further second down and having to worry about Crutchlow behind him.
Dovizioso gest past Petrucci for sixth. He's doing a solid recovery job, but it's not enough for the purposes of the championship race.
Alex Rins is told to go into 'Mapping 2', whatever that is. If he's already tyre-saving, it's potentially bad bad news for our victory battle.
Marquez just has too much pace in his reserves - he now takes his lead over one second.
Vinales is starting to drop back from Marquez, and Rins picks the Yamaha rider off at Turn 12 as he tries to keep the reigning champion from escaping into the distance.
Current top 10: 1 Marquez, 2 Vinales, 3 Rins, 4 Crutchlow, 5 Miller, 6 Petrucci, 7 Dovizioso, 8 Morbidelli, 9 Rossi, 10 Mir.
Out front, Marquez is setting the pace but is not managing to check out from Vinales just yet. The Yamaha man is keeping him honest.
The French rookie's race ends at Turn 3 as he tries to pass a works Ducati and loses the bike at Turn 3.
Vinales is hanging in there with Marquez over the opening lap, with Rins, Miller, Crutchlow, Petrucci and Quartararo following behind.
Quartararo's paid the price for braking too early into Turn 1, as he's allowed several riders through. Vinales is now up to second behind Marquez, continuing his recent streak of surprisingly good starts.
The lights go out, and the race is go! Quartararo superb off the line, but Marquez is much later on the brakes into Turn 1 to keep the lead.
Marquez, Quartararo and Rossi are among those to have opted for the medium rear, while Vinales, Rins and Dovizioso are running the hard.
The riders have begun their warm-up laps. A colder track today than it had been all weekend, as it was raining in the morning and has been largely overcast since.
We've had the first-ever MotoE race earlier today, with Niki Tuuli edging Bradley Smith in a thoroughly entertaining scrap that was called early after five laps, when Lorenzo Savadori's (quite heavy) Energica Ego Corsa demolished the airfence at Turn 8.

In Moto3, Lorenzo Dalla Porta took a long overdue first win of the season, and will head into the summer break two points clear of Aron Canet.

Alex Marquez took his fourth Moto2 win in the past five races, and now likewise heads the standings, by eight points over Tom Luthi.
Championship standings (top 10): 1 Marquez, 160; 2 Dovizioso, 116; 3 Petrucci, 108; 4 Rins, 101; 5 Rossi, 72; 6 Quartararo, 67; 7 Vinales, 65; 8 Miller, 60; P Espargaro, 52; 10 Crutchlow, 51.
A miracle that we're set to have 22 bikes on the grid, what with around a fourth of the grid carrying some sort of injury.

Fabio Quartararo dislocated his shoulder yesterday. Cal Crutchlow will be riding with a tibia fracture. Pol Espargaro is continuing to nurse a major wrist injury, while his brother Aleix Esparagaro is still suffering from the after-effects of his crash in the Barcelona race.

Danilo Petrucci damaged ligaments in his right thumb in a fast crash yesterday. Johann Zarco has been having arm pump issues, and lost his voice to a cold yesterday. Pecco Bagnaia had to sit out a practice session after an FP1 crash forced him into a hospital visit.

And then of course there's Taka Nakagami, who after his Dutch TT shunt said his bones felt like they were breaking in "every corner" yesterday.
Marc Marquez is the odds-on favourite for a 10tn consecutive win at the Sachsenring, and a seventh consecutive German GP win - but has expressed willingness to give up that streak in favour of increasing his points lead over Andrea Dovizioso, who has had a miserable weekend.

Still, it would be a shock to see Marquez anywhere but right at the sharp end here, and if I were a betting man I wouldn't bet much at all on him losing this one.
Grid: 1 Marquez, 2 Quartararo, 3 Vinales
4 Rins, 5 Miller, 6 Crutchlow
7 Morbidelli, 8 P Espargaro, 9 Mir
10 Nakagami, 11 Rossi, 12 Petrucci
13 Dovizioso, 14 Bradl, 15 A Espargaro
16 Iannone, 17 Bagnaia, 18 Syahrin
19 Zarco, 20 Oliveira, 21 Abraham
22 Rabat
