IndyCar - Pocono: Alex Tagliani's run ends with a crash at the start of his first flying lap. He got up into the outside wall at Turn 1, and then spun down and crashed heavily into the barriers on the inside of the track. That looked nasty, but he has already clambered out of the car.
Tagliani was the last driver to run, so his accident secures an Andretti 1-2-3, with Marco Andretti securing pole position ahead of Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchliffe.

IndyCar - Pocono: But it wasn't. Both of his flying laps were actually a little slower than his warm-up lap. Another boost penalty, perhaps? As things stand, he'll start from fifth. There are five cars still to come, with Dario Franchitti currently on the track.
IndyCar - Pocono: Wow, Kanaan's warm-up lap was just over 220mph. This could be a quick one.
IndyCar - Pocono: Power says that his lost speed was the consquence of a boost penalty. There's a good chance that he'll still end up on the second row though.
IndyCar - Pocono: Will Power's first lap was good enough to put him into provisional second place, but he lost a lot of time on his second lap and drops to fourth. That second lap was 1.5mph slower, so it will be interesting to hear what went wrong.
IndyCar - Pocono: Simona de Silvestro heads out to get the session restarted. A few clouds have moved in during that stoppage - there's no threat of rain, but it's certainly a bit cooler than it was earlier in the session.
IndyCar - Pocono: Viso has climbed out of the car unassisted, and the safety team is cleaning up assorted bits of bodywork. That's probably cost Andretti Autosport a 1-2-3-4 lockout of the grid.

IndyCar - Pocono: Well, not quite everything is going Andretti's way. EJ Viso's first lap had him on target for fourth, but as he exited Turn 1 on his second lap the rear stepped out and he spun up into the wall. It was a fairly heavy hit, but he's fine.
IndyCar - Pocono: Many suspected that the team with the best chance of unseating Andretti was going to be Penske, so on that basis the Andretti squad will be relieved to see Helio Castroneves finish his run in provisional fourth place.
Meanwhile, Justin Wilson says that he will change his Honda engine and take a penalty. As it stands he's 12th-fastest and 5mph off the pace with about half of the field still to come, so it's unlikely that losing 10 grid places will hurt him that much.

IndyCar - Pocono: Ryan Hunter-Reay completes his two-lap run and finishes up second-fastest, 0.4mph down on Marco Andretti's average. As it stands, Andretti Autosport occupies the three-car front row, with Andretti ahead of Hunter-Reay and Hinchcliffe.

IndyCar - Pocono: Andretti reels off a two-lap average of 221.273mph. That knocks 10mph off the previous track record, and is going to prove a solid challenge for those to come.

IndyCar - Pocono: Tristan Vautier ventures out onto the track to get qualifying underway. We're a car short today, with Ryan Briscoe's ALMS commitments having kept him at Lime Rock. He'll arrive in time for tomorrow's race.
IndyCar - Pocono: Wow, Munoz has knocked Karam's time clean out of the park - his 188.861mph is about 1.5mph quicker than Karam managed. He'll start from pole, and will feel he has something to prove after finishing dead last - on merit - last time out at Iowa.
IndyCar - Pocono: Karam's two-lap average of 187.302mph is still holding up with just one driver yet to set a time. But the fact that the driver in question is Carlos Munoz means that Karam's time is not safe yet.

GP3 - Nurburgring: Regalia takes the chequered flag, winning by over 7s from Ellinas and Harvey, who circulated closely throughout without ever looking likely to swap positions.

GP3 - Nurburgring: The race restarts well for Regalia, who pulls out a 0.9s lead over Ellinas as the safety car pulls off.

GP3 - Nurburgring: Regalia makes a perfect start to lead from Ellinas. Fontana made a poor start and spun at Turn 4. Harvey is third, ahead of Williamson and Yelloly.

IndyCar: Pocono: That was the only practice session before qualifying commences in a couple of hours, although the drivers have another 30 minutes of track time later this afternoon.

IndyCar - Pocono: And the session ends with Marco Andretti on top at 221.883mph. Tony Kanaan, Charlie Kimball, Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves round out the top five.

GP2 - Nurburgring: Wow, what an amazing finish. Not at the front, where Ericsson cruised home to beat Calado by 7.8s, but the battle for third was sensational.
Coletti nicked it, after banging wheels with Frijns at the chicane on the last lap. Then they touched at the final corner, and Leimer and Richelmi also nipped past the Dutchman. Amazing.

GP2 - Nurburgring: This race has been an overtaking-fest. Richelmi passes Nasr for sixth, Leimer passes Nasr a corner later. Then Lancaster passes Rossi for eighth - and reversed-grid pole - and Dillmann also gets past Rossi. Phew!
