MotoGP - Brno: Yet to see it on the cameras, but the timing system says Sam Lowes has crashed from third place.

DTM - Nurburgring: The best of the Mercs in qualifying yesterday was Daniel Juncadella, who was seventh in his Mucke entry. But, given he was carrying 20kg (that's right, 20kg) less ballast than polesitter Wittmann, the Spaniard said he wasn't entirely satisfied with his performance.
"It's the same explanation I always have for DTM qualifying; it's just so hard to manage to do the perfect lap. Probably I was a bit over-excited in Q3, trying to get the maximum out of the car.

DTM - Nurburgring: Audi's Mike Rockenfeller enjoyed his best qualifying session of 2014 yesterday, and will start today's race from third position. He admitted after the session that, given his practice form, he didn't expect to be so close to the front.
"To be honest, I'm a bit surprised. After free practice I was struggling quite a lot in all conditions, so I was not expecting to fight for pole.
"At the end, when you're close, of course you want to do the perfect lap … which I couldn't manage. But the car was fantastic in the dry. We hope to have a good Sunday."

DTM - Nurburgring: Good morning/afternoon (depending on where you are) from a cloudy, but dry, Nurburgring.
In case you missed it yesterday, Marco Wittmann will start today's race from pole position. The points leader was in sublime form, despite his M4 being maxxed out with performance ballast at 1130kg.
Here's what he had to say afterwards.
"Today my car was just amazing. It was really fun to drive today, even with the tricky conditions in Q1. Especially in Q2 and Q3, I just felt so comforttable with my car. My team did a good job."

Moto2 - Brno: Now we're on Moto2, and season-long points leader Tito Rabat is under pressure, as his Marc VDS team-mate (and sometime Ducati MotoGP rider) Mika Kallio has slashed his championship lead from 34 points to just seven in the last three rounds.
But Rabat has responded well so far and he's on pole today ahead of Tom Luthi and Sandro Cortese.

Moto3 - Brno: Rather like Vazquez's win last Sunday, today's hard-earned result ends a long slog for Masbou.
The 27-year-old Frenchman first appeared in Moto3's 125cc predecessor as a wildcard way back in 2003.
He's been on the scene ever since, though it took until 2012 before he actually appeared on the podium.
He was third at the Sachsenring last month and has been scoring strongly all year, and now he's finally, finally, finally a grand prix winner.
