In Moto2, Alex Marquez won his third race on the bounce, and takes the lead in the standings after a third crash of the season for Lorenzo Baldassarri.

Alex Marquez tallied up a hat-trick of victories in the 2019 Moto2 season after beating Tom Luthi in the Catalan Grand Prix to move into the lead of the championship.

Before we get into the build-up, we've two races already today.

Leopard Racing's Marcos Ramirez won a dramatic Moto3 race in Barcelona as several riders - including championship contenders Lorenzo Dalla Porta and Jaume Masia - retired from victory contention.

Lots of question marks over tyres heading into this one, with all three options looking raceable. That, coupled with the scorching temperatures, has most predicting a slow pace at the start of this one - which means the field will be tightly bunched.
