MotoGP - Barcelona: Marquez lost out to Bradl off the start but has repassed the German and is now attacking team-mate Pedrosa for third.

MotoGP - Barcelona: The first three free practice sessions were all topped by satellite or Open riders as Aleix Espargaro, Bradley Smith and Stefan Bradl upstaged the works runners.
Smith was frustrated with eighth on the grid, while Espargaro ended up sixth but tends not to fare so well in a race.
But might Bradl get a podium today for LCR Honda? He's been very fast all weekend and beat Rossi to fourth on the grid yesterday.
He's showing no ill effects from a bruising time at Mugello at fortnight ago, when he had a violent crash by himself in the warm-up then another big shunt when wiped out by Crutchlow's out of control bike in the race.
MotoGP - Barcelona: Still very sunny at Barcelona at the moment despite forecasts of changeable weather today. There are clouds around, but it currently seems like the MotoGP race will get done in the dry.

MotoGP - Barcelona: That puts Crutchlow fourth out of the five Ducatis in the field - ahead of factory test rider Michele Pirro but behind both the Pramac men.
And Pramac's top man here isn't 2014 sensation Andrea Iannone, but his Colombian team-mate Yonny Hernandez, who starts a career-best ninth - two places behind Andrea Dovizioso and two ahead of Iannone.
Crutchlow also remarked that the fact Hernandez is basically riding last year's Ducati GP13 shows the team hasn't really improved at all...

MotoGP - Barcelona: This has not been a good weekend for Cal Crutchlow so far, he said yesterday his confidence with the bike is currently "zero" and that "every time I ride the Ducati, I seem to get worse."
He couldn't get beyond Q1 yesterday and is only 13th on the grid.

At the start of the weekend, both Danilo Petrucci and Nicky Hayden were sussing out whether their recent injury/surgery pains were sufficiently recovered for them to race.
Hayden decided he was good to go, which means his planned stand-in Leon Camier hasn't had a chance with Aspar, but Petrucci called off his comeback late on Thursday night, so Superbike rider Fabrizio is back in again.
After his Saturday morning call-up at Mugello, Fabrizio at least had chance to ride in Friday practice this time, but five years out of MotoGP plus having to grapple with the Ioda Aprilia mean he's propped up the field all weekend.

Moto2 - Barcelona: Amazing last-lap battle for third between Luthi, Kallio and Zarco - and it's the Frenchman who slips through, with a bit of barging, and grabs a MotoGP podium finish for Caterham for the first time.

Moto2 - Barcelona: Rabat begins the last lap with a five-second lead, while Zarco is lining up Kallio for fourth place.

Moto2 - Barcelona: Torres's charge didn't end well... he lost it into Turn 10, with his Suter then bouncing into Aegerter - who did very, very well not to fall as it hit him.
That did drop Aegerter to ninth though, so that incident has handed title contender Kallio two places - he's back up to fourth.
Rabat won't be too bothered, he's now four seconds clear of Vinales in the race lead.

Moto2 - Barcelona: Since passing Kallio, Torres has made very rapid progress. He's just grabbed fourth from Aegerter and is now all over Luthi for third.

He's stretched his lead over Vinales out to 1.8s, and Kallio is going backwards - he's lost fourth to Aegerter and is under big pressure for fifth from Jordi Torres.

Moto2 - Barcelona: Scary incident at Turn 1 as Luis Salom, Vinales' Pons team-mate, has a nasty fall and tumbles back across the track.
Jonas Folger has to dodge around his former Moto3 rival to avoid hitting the Spaniard and ends up crashing in the gravel as well. Both look unhurt - which is a huge credit to Folger's avoidance effort.

While we wait for Moto2 to begin, a click nod towards Hell... in the sense of the Norwegian rallycross venue rather than the miserable afterlife of the damned, of course.
There's another illustrious entry for round three of World Rallycross, with Ken Block making his first appearance of the season, Jacques Villeneuve back after missing Lydden in favour of Indianapolis (how often has anyone had that particular decision to make?) and two-time DTM champion Mattias Ekstrom's new Audis for himself and rising World Rally star Pontus Tidemand turning up for the first time - and looking good, as our picture shows.

Moto3 - Barcelona: Ajo gets back to his pit. That save is set to become a social media sensation - he effectively had the first part of a high-side as his bike twitched and kicked him into the air through Turn 7/8, then it didn't go right over, instead dropping back onto the track with both his legs on one side of the bike.

That squad hasn't had a lot to cheer about in MotoGP of late, but the emergence of its young Moto3 star is exciting stuff.
Now Alex Marquez is back and actually the Marquez/Honda family celebrations are managing to beat Gresini's happiness with Bastianini.
Both Marc Marquez and Honda top man Shuhei Nakamoto are there to congratulate Alex.
That's the first win for Honda's revamped Moto3 programme too.
