Turns out the Italian passed the safety car briefly - but it was parked at Turn 1 and he was just avoiding it. Gratifyingly, he was excused for the 'misdemeanour'. Let's call it an unsafety car.

European F3 - Norisring: A reminder: Charles Leclerc won a wet race earlier today from title rivals Antonio Giovinazzi and Felix Rosenqvist, while the fourth title contender - Jake Dennis - crashed out while lapping the delayed Arjun Maini. That put the race under safety car and, because of the excessive spray, it finished that way.
