IndyCar - Long Beach: Comfortable win for Scott Dixon at a track where he historically hasn't had a lot of luck. Castroneves is second, and Montoya holds on third by just a couple of tenths. Kanaan and Bourdais complete the top five.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Two laps to go, and now Bourdais has made it a four-way scrap. TK has burned through three of those push-to-passes, but still sits behind Pagenaud.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Five laps to go. Pagenaud is still all over Montoya, and Kanaan is starting to creep up behind the pair of them.
IndyCar - Long Beach: Pagenaud has been stalking Montoya ever since losing third place to the Colombian, and that duel is the most interesting thing happening on the track at the moment. Dixon is 3.6s ahead of Castroneves, and there's a similar gap back to the Montoya/Pagenaud battle.
IndyCar - Long Beach: Montoya attacks Pagenaud, and the Frenchman, on cold tyres, can't do much about it. Montoya moves up to third. Dixon leads Castroneves by 4.1s.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Just over half distance, and Dixon leads by 2.3s. There's a Penske train of Castroneves, Pagenaud and Montoya behind him, with Newgarden still rounding out the top five.
IndyCar - Long Beach: The intra-team fight a Penske is heating up. Pagenaud is under pressure from Montoya, and Castroneves is only 1.0s or so ahead of them.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Now everyone is stopping all at once. Castroneves was delayed by traffic in the pits, so we'd expect him to have lost the lead to Dixon once all this shakes out.

IndyCar - Long Beach: We're envisioning him shouting 'wheeeeee!' every time he presses it. Maybe he's getting bored - Chaves is now 7.0s further down the road.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Francesco Dracone is on the push to pass, which is weird considering that he is 5.0s behind Chaves. Actually, he has already burned through five of his allocated 10, and we're only 18 laps into an 80 lap race.
IndyCar - Long Beach: Front wing change for Charlie Kimball - he must have hit something earlier, because part of the wing simply flew off as he was accelerating down a straight.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Sounds like Power's stall was driver error, and it has left him a lap down. The CFH team is still trying to work out what happened to Filippi, who finally rejoins after losing two laps.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Light contact between Chaves and Hawksworth results in a chunk of Chaves' front wing falling off.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Green flag! Montoya had a look at leader Castroneves, got squeezed, and lost second to Scott Dixon. Everyone is through the first few corners safely, which is a rare thing here.
IndyCar - Long Beach: Lots of talking points ahead of today's race, with two Penske on the front row and another - that of reigning champion Will Powwr - back in 18th. Then there's Conor Daly, who had just finished spreading cream cheese on his bagel in Honda's hospitality unit yesterday morning when he got the call from Dale Coyne to suit up and replace Rocky Moran Jr (who in turn had been a late replacement for Carlos Huertas ...)
IndyCar - Long Beach: We've just had a particularly Shakespearian command to start engines from actor Patrick Stewart, and the cars are now on their installation laps.

MotoGP - Argentina: Race control are investigating the incident between Rossi and Marquez. There was contact as Marquez fell but Rossi was clearly ahead - it was more like Marquez hitting the back of him.
