Superstars - Imola: Luigi Ferrara grabs a surprise pole for the first of tomorrow's two races!

Here's the Top 5 – Ferrara; Liuzzi; Biagi; Bacci; Mugelli. Gianni Morbidelli down in eighth.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Beche loses a wheel - the left rear — and pits. The car is taken into a garage. This is a disaster for the TDS squad, which entered the race equal on points with Signatech.
BTCC - Silverstone: Shedden improves, but he's only 13th. Title rival Jordan is ninth.
BTCC - Silverstone: Amazing scenes: Jack Goff leaps up to fifth in his Vauxhall Insignia.
BTCC - Silverstone: Neal suffers a big spin at Copse. He was almost collected as he did so. Was his broken finger a factor their? Or was he trying not to exceed track limits? Or did he just lose it?
BTCC - Silverstone: The order is now Plato, Tordoff, Newsham, Turkington, Morgan and Collard.
BTCC - Silverstone: Fourth-placed Wrathall has also lost all his times for a rideheight failure. Disaster! He's now 25th.
BTCC - Silverstone: Neal's efforts to improve on his next lap end in a spectacular slide at Brooklands. He just keeps it on the island. Meantime, Shedden and Bratt have had their times removed for exceeding track limits.
ERC - Croatia - Results:

1 Kopecky; 2 Aigner; 3 Gassner Jr; 4 Tsjoen; 5 Lategan; 6 Hadik; 7 Humar; 8 Saskin; 9 Bessenyey; 10 Consani.
BTCC - Silverstone: Neal, driving with a broken finger this weekend, almost betters his time but stays eighth. That's top Honda Civic, nine-thousandths quicker than Andy Jordan.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Griffin is leading in GTE and slowly inching away from Camathias.
BTCC - Silverstone: Newsham and Wrathall have set exactly the same laptime, but Newsham set it first so that's why he's third. It's close between the Toyotas.
BTCC - Silverstone: The order so far is Plato, Tordoff, Newsham, Wrathall, Turkington, Adam Morgan, Collard, Neal and Jordan.
BTCC - Silverstone: Newsham goes P3, reflecting his pace from practice earlier. Turkington is fourth in his BMW.
FIA GT - Navarra: The rain in Spain……..you know the rest. A wet qualifying in prospect here at Navarra. Steady precipitation will spice up the qualifying and then the Superpole session.
BTCC - Silverstone: Plato and Tordoff separated by just 0.009s! It's an all-MG battle for pole so far.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Turvey continues to pull away - the gap is now out to nearly five seconds after five laps. Beche is still stuck behind Hirschi and has Klien, who got around Ragues on lap three, is closing in.
ERC - Croatia: And another stage victory to Kopecky - his fifth of the day - to win the rally and, of course, the ERC title.
BTCC - Silverstone: Wrathall goes P1, ahead of Tordoff. But Turkington beats them both. A lively start to this session.
FR3.5 - Paul Ricard: News has finally come through that Stoffel Vandoorne has escaped a penalty following the investigation into his sector times under yellow flags in race one. That means Kevin Magnussen still needs to outscore him by five points tomorrow if the Dane is to seal the title this weekend.
Superstars - Imola: Half-way through qualifying and, surprise surprise, Tonio Liuzzi is leading the way. He's currently 0.4s up on Luigi Ferrara.
ERC - Croatia: Fourth place Tsjoen finishes the stage in 1m38.7s. He's been sharing the Skoda with Bernd Casier this weekend as the pair took turns at driving and navigating.
BTCC - Silverstone: Dan Welch has already spun his Proton at Brooklands - and that was on his out-lap!

FIA GT - Navarra: A real Hitchcockian paddock moment here in Navarra as this impressive wild beast got feisty with the FIA GT Series TV staff. We think it is a wild vulture!
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Turvey is inching away from Hirschi, who has Beche right on his tail. Ragues was up to fourth before the end of the opening lap.
BTCC - Silverstone: Qualifying has kicked off, 30 minutes of qualifying for round nine at Silverstone.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: Turvey gets the jump on the field into Turn 1. Beche almost makes it past Hirschi after going four wheels off down the start-finish straight. Klien jumps to third in the Morand Morgan.
ELMS - Paul Ricard: The cars have left the grid. Turvey and Hirschi are starting their respective Jota and Murphy cars. Beche and Ragues take the first stint in the championship-challenging TDS and Signatech entries.
DTM - Zandvoort: Stat attack time.

Marco Wittmann's last pole position came at the Macau GP in 2011.

MTEK got both its cars into Q3 for the first time today.

Farfus has made Q4 seven times in nine races this year - easily the best of anyone in the DTM.
Superstars - Imola: Qualifying has kicked off here at Imola. On practice form, Tonio Liuzzi will be hard to beat.
ERC - Croatia: Last stage of the rally coming up and it's a 1.7-kilometre run through Porec, which Juraj Sebalj topped on Thursday evening.
DTM - Zandvoort: Polesitter Marco Wittmann, when asked 'will you be allowed to drive your own race, or will you have to help Augusto?'

"We will have to see what happens in the first corners and laps. Sure if there is a chance to help my team-mate in his championship push, I will do that."

(BMW motorsport chief Jens Marquardt watched this comment being spoken with a broad grin on his face).
Moto2 - Aragon - Qualifying:

1 Terol; 2 Rabat; 3 Espargaro; 4 Nakagami; 5 Torres; 6 Corsi; 7 Simon; 8 De Angelis; 9 Cortese; 10 Zarco.
Moto2 - Aragon: And the chequered flag is out. Terol starts from pole, ahead of Rabat and Espargaro. Nakagami, Torres and Corsi line up on the second row of the grid.

Redding, meanwhile, failed to make any improvements and finished the session in a lowly 13th position. Lest we forget the Marc VDS rider is not at 100% fitness at the moment following surgery on his right forearm.
DTM - Zandvoort: Qualifying order: 1 Wittmann; 2 Farfus; 3 Rockenfeller; 4 Scheider; 5 Hand; 6 Albuquerque; 7 Mortara; 8 Glock; 9 Tambay; 10 Molina.
