Glock unhappy with Nakajima

GP2 Series leader Timo Glock has expressed his disappointment with Kazuki Nakajima for holding him up in qualifying

The BMW Sauber F1 test driver was one of many drivers to exit the session after being caught out on cold tyres. Meanwhile, he blamed DAMS rival Nakajima for earlier balking him and ruining what would have been his fastest lap.

"I was on for a [one minute] 28.2 or 28.3," claimed Glock, which would have put him second or third. "But the DAMS car almost stopped in front of me in the final sector."

Glock had to rely on his previous best, a 1:28.6, after he spun into the tyre wall at Club on his out lap on new tyres.

"We were told in the drivers' briefing to give space to drivers on hot laps," said Glock. "I saw [Luca] Filippi in the mirrors and moved over for him. But the car just bloody spun like it was on ice. I was on the brakes, but it still hit the wall. It's a shame."

Glock did point out one bonus of his qualifying slip-up: he would not be starting anywhere near iSport team-mate Andreas Zuber after their collision from the front row at Magny-Cours last week.

"At least I'm far enough away from my teammate that we won't crash," he confidently predicted.
