McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner Russell set for FR3.5 tests
George Russell, the 2014 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner, will test Formula Renault 3.5 cars this week as he weighs his options for next season

The 17-year-old, who finished sixth in the Formula 3 European Championship in his rookie season, will test with Tech 1 Racing on Tuesday and Strakka Racing on Wednesday in FR3.5's post-season Jerez test.
Russell had a one-off outing with Tech 1 in the final round of last season's Formula Renault Eurocup at Jerez, scoring a race win.
"We're just giving it a go to see what I think," he said.
"We've just got to weigh up all the options, and doing the test will make FR3.5 one of those because you have limited testing in those categories.
"It'll be nice to go back and test with Tech 1 because I've got a nice record with them so far, and I'm looking forward to testing with Strakka."
Russell also says it will benefit him before he tests a Formula 1 McLaren later this week, his prize for winning the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
"I've got the F1 test coming up, so it'll be good preparation for that," he said.
Russell will be joined at Strakka by Formula Renault Eurocup race winner and fellow Briton Jake Hughes, who will run both days at Jerez with the team.
Hughes's fellow 2015 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award finalist Jack Aitken is also driving at the test - and FRenault ALPS title winner will get two days with Fortec Motorsport.
