Lucas di Grassi tops Formula E team bosses' top 10 drivers vote
Lucas di Grassi has emerged as the victor of Autosport's Formula E team bosses' top 10 drivers poll for the 2015/16 season
For the electric single-seater championship's second campaign Autosport has conducted an exclusive poll of team figureheads, asking them for their top 10 drivers based on performances on track over the nine events.
The results are kept a complete secret, ensuring honesty and objectivity, with only the overall standings published based on FE's scoring system of 25 points for first place, down to one for 10th.
Eight of the nine FE teams took part, with Dragon Racing unavailable.
Di Grassi won three races en route to second in the drivers' championship, missing out on the title in the final round after a first-lap collision with Sebastien Buemi.
The Brazilian received a trio of top scores from team bosses and collected 146 points from a maximum 200 to narrowly defeat Buemi and Sam Bird in the poll.
Bird's race-winning campaign for DS Virgin rated highly in our survey and he was comfortably clear of a close fight for fourth, headed by Antonio Felix da Costa.
The Portuguese driver only secured a best result of sixth across the season and wound up 13th in the points, but his underdog heroics for Team Aguri did not go unnoticed by rival teams.
Robin Frijns and Nelson Piquet Jr were two other drivers to finish outside of the top 10 in the championship but grab places in this list.
Andretti driver Frijns beat Jean-Eric Vergne to sixth on countback, while outgoing champion Piquet's efforts with a recalcitrant NextEV TCR package allowed him to sneak in in 10th.
