Oliver Rowland joins the Autosport Racing podcast after recently being crowned as the Formula E world champion.
The Nissan driver clinched his maiden title in the all-electric championship on 13 July and so he discusses the key moment of his career that led him to that point.
He is joined by Autosport Editor-In-Chief Kevin Turner, where they also look ahead to his weekend’s 2024/25 Formula E season finale in London.
The interview then delves into how Alex Albon landing a Formula 1 contract opened the door for Rowland to enter Formula E, plus how the championship has changed since his debut.
There is also talk of his sudden departure from Mahindra in 2023 and how that motivated him to come back and succeed with Nissan. Finally, Rowland reveals how he’s mentoring F1 prospect and Red Bull junior driver, Arvid Lindblad.
