Qualifying 2: Pole for Jouanny

Promatecme star Bruce Jouanny continued his recent run of form with his third pole position in three races in qualifying for race two at Donington Park, the 26th and final round of the British F3 Championship

The Frenchman put in an awesome lap to make up for losing out on pole in race one to Robbie Kerr in Friday's session, and set a time a massive 0.448s clear of Finn Heikki Kovalainen.

Menu Motorsport's Rob Austin maintained his late-season form with an impressive third place on the grid, with Carlin Motorsport's Alan van der Merwe in fourth.

Championship rivals Kerr and James Courtney will start fifth and seventh, sandwiching Manor Motorsport's Richard Antinucci, and the Australian looks increasingly unlikely to be able to overturn his rival's points lead.

Kerr could clinch the championship if he finishes ahead of Courtney in race one (Saturday), and but should he fail to do so will still be very well placed in race two (Sunday).

In the Scholarship class, champion Adam Carroll took pole and ninth place overall, ahead of Sweeney racing team-mates Robert Dahlgren and Billy Asaro.
