Bruce Jouanny scored his second British Formula 3 pole of the day at Thruxton for Sunday's 24th round of the series
Points leader Robbie Kerr was only fourth this time, as Fortec's Heikki Kovalainen and title rival James Courtney were quicker in the second session. Courtney recovered from an early off, and needed grass cleaning out of his sidepods, before setting his third fastest time.
Kovalainen's team-mate Fabio Carbone was fifth, ahead of Robert Dahlgren, who was the best of the Scholarship class runners.
