Priaulx targets future F1 drive
Formula 3 new-boy Andy Priaulx claims he is on the right road to his ultimate goal - a Formula 1 seat
The Renault/Promatecme driver, who stormed to a clean-sweep of victories in last year's Renault Spider Cup, was at the launch of his 2000 challenger last weekend.
The 25-year-old said: "This season is a real chance for me to demonstrate my skills in a single seater car on some of the UK's greatest motor racing circuits.
"Driving an F3 car in a championship is like a dream come true and will enable me to work towards achieving the ultimate goal, a drive in an F1 car.
"This season is going to need my complete commitment and will mean a lot of hard work. But I'm prepared to put in 110 per cent to make it happen.
"Of course, much of the credit must go to my sponsors who are very eager to see me succeed this year. Their support has enabled me to race this season and I'm very grateful to them."
The F3 season starts at Thruxton on March 25th/26th.
