F3 gets coverage boost
Fans of the Green Flag British Formula 3 Championship get a double dose of action this Saturday with coverage of both Donington races
The action will be fast and furious, featuring race footage, on-board drama and interviews with the Grand Prix stars of tomorrow.
The Donington races formed part of the first double-header weekend of the season with race one giving Ben Collins a maiden F3 win after series leader Antonio Pizzonia clashed with Takuma Sato at the first corner. Pizzonia¹s fight-back after a pit-stop was one of the highlights of the race as was Andy Priaulx¹s recovery after an early spin.
Viewers can decide who was guilty in the Matt Davies/Tomas Scheckter clash, and see Narain Karthikeyan¹s vigorous efforts to grab the lead.
The second Donington race gave Tomas Scheckter a second win of the season despite intense pressure from Pizzonia and a fast-starting Andy Priaulx took third in another hectic race.
F3 on 4 will be shown at 12 noon this Saturday, May 27, with GT on 4 shown straight afterwards, giving 60 minutes of PowerTour coverage.
