Di Grassi on First Euro F3 Pole

Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi secured his first F3 Euroseries pole position after toping the timesheets for today's first race at Oschersleben

Di Grassi's Manor Motorsport team had more to be happy about when Paul Di Resta secured the other front-row slot, demoting Championship leaders ASM to the second row.

Adrian Sutil pipped teamate Lewis Hamilton just at the end of the session for third. It is only the second time this season that Hamilton will not start a race from the front row.

Di Grassi said: "There were very few yellow flags, therefore, I had the opportunity of completing many fast laps. A front end grid position is crucial, here at Oschersleben, as overtaking is close to impossible at this circuit."
