Alguersuari on pole for race two

Jaime Alguersuari claimed pole position for race two of British Formula 3's visit to Rockingham this weekend

The Spaniard set the quickest time of another soaking wet qualifying session, which was littered with incidents, just as the day's earlier session was.

Alguersuari set his best time between the first and second red flags, as did Sebastian Hohenthal, Oliver Turvey, and race one polesitter Max Chilton, who complete the first two rows.

There were three minutes of the session remaining after the final red flag, but separate incidents at the Tarzan hairpin and the final corner brought out multiple waved yellows and prevented anyone from improving their position.

Andy Meyrick will start fifth, edging closer to the overall podium in his National Class car after qualifying eighth in the earlier session.

Atte Mustonen will start sixth after spinning off the road with Meyrick 10 minutes from the end of the session.

Michael Devaney will start seventh in the lead Mygale, with Marcus Ericsson, Nick Tandy and Sergio Perez completing the top 10.
