Di Grassi loses second place

Lucas di Grassi has lost his second place on the grid for the Macau Grand Prix after he was penalised for ignoring yellow flags on his fastest qualifying lap

The Manor Motorsport driver set his best time in the dying minutes of Friday's final qualifying session - but was deemed to have not slowed down enough after Japanese F3 champion Joao Paolo de Oliveira crashed at Fisherman's Bend.

After speaking to the driver and looking at the timing sheets and video evidence, the stewards decided to delete di Grassi's two fastest laps - which will provisionally drop him down to fourth on the grid.

It means that Carlin Motorsport's Robert Kubica will start second, with di Grassi's teammate Mike Conway starting third - despite crashing out early in the session.
