It was a day of unexpected highs and lows at the Monaco Grand Prix during Saturday qualifying, with the winners on Friday coming off second best on Saturday.
A shock pole position for Kimi Antonelli, followed by Max Verstappen, sees favourites Ferrari starting third and fourth. Lewis Hamilton was puzzled to the balance of the Ferrari from Friday to Saturday, with it changing completely even though very setup changes were made. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, likewise was having trouble with braking confidence.
Finally, McLaren are disappointed with their lack of pace, with Lando Norris' limited running on Friday and Oscar Piastri at a loss with which direction to go with the car.
