Trulli hopes to turn tables on H-HF
Jarno Trulli wants to turn the tables on team mate Heinz-Harald Frentzen at this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix. The Italian has recently been outgunned by the German, who has finished the first two races in the points
"I hope things are going to change," said Trulli, who qualified seventh in Sao Paulo, one place ahead of Frentzen. "In the past during the races I have always been ahead of Heinz-Harald Frentzen and in a good position, but so far I have just not got it completely right.
"In Melbourne, the engine failed, and in Malaysia it was a very unusual situation. When it was raining very hard, I started aquaplaning because I was on dry tyres and was trying to get back to the pits.
"Probably for the first time in my life, I wished I was not leading the race. I then went out."
Trulli bemoaned the fact that his practice and qualifying form has not translated to a good race result this year.
"I am always performing well on Friday. I seem to do well in qualifying generally and hopefully one day I will do well on Sunday - perhaps this weekend," he said. "It would be nice to be in front of Heinz."
He added: "Luck has not been on my side. I hope this period will end soon. You need luck to be successful."
