Rubens won't quit until he wins at home
Rubens Barrichello has vowed that he won't stop racing until he wins the Brazilian Grand Prix, after he was forced to retire from the lead of this year's event with fuel problems
The Brazilian has suffered a string of misfortunes in his home race, and has failed to score a single point at the Interlagos circuit since 1994.
Speaking to Brazilian TV channel TV Globo Barrichello said: "I feel an enormous disappointment but I am not losing hope. I will not stop racing until I win in this country."
Barrichello was forced to retire from this year's race shortly after overtaking David Coulthard for the lead of the event. The Brazilian was pulling clear of the Scot and was confident he was on course for victory.
"I was sure that I was going to win," he said. "When I understood that something was wrong, I checked the electronic readout to know what was happening but the car stopped in such a way that there was nothing to do about it. When I learned that it was because of a fuel problem, I was even more frustrated."
