Racing review: All the results

AUTOSPORT brings you the definitive who won what, and where, round-up from throughout the racing world last weekend

Ryan Briscoe was set to take his second IndyCar victory of the season, having dominated proceedings at Texas right up until the final round of pitstops. But Helio Castroneves's dream year continued when he jumped ahead of his Penske team-mate to snatch the win in the final stint.

There were a few firsts over the course of the weekend, as series veterans Vitaly Petrov and Lucas di Grassi each took their first GP2 victories of the season in the two races at Istanbul Park, while Walter Grubmuller scored his maiden Formula 3 win at Hockenheim after Marcus Ericsson had claimed the opener.

Kyle Busch won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Pocono, but was nothing like as competitive in the Sprint Cup event on Sunday. That race was dominated by Carl Edwards until a rain interuption with 40 laps to go, when Tony Stewart took over at the front thanks to a light fuel load and managed to hold on to the end.
